He has a degree in classical guitar, is a professional performing jazz musician, owned a recording studio, plays (at least) five different instruments - anything you’d want to know about music he can bring insights and help you grow, not just technically, but in how to think about music and how music works. I came to Lou having never touched a guitar and a year later, I’m amazed to be playing Hendrix, Pink Floyd, blues, and knowing how to improvise my own music and solos. So much fun. I’ve also taken 6 months of bass lessons and become proficient on bass. Lou taught me both of these instruments from zero, along with music theory, advice on buying two guitars, and even help with setup issues on guitars. I highly recommend Lou to anyone wanting to get started with guitar, or hone their skills with a real master and a nice guy."

You may come into his lessons with a narrow interest in a specific genre, but he will widen the aperture of your musical interests and teach you to become proficient in anything from metal to jazz to classical to blues and beyond. He will push you as far as you want to go with the only limitation being your own effort, motivation and dedication to practice & study.
