"Ok. So, there are new taller bigger "Check In" Kiosk. If they can be made adjustable, that would be great. Don't like someone taller than me can see my information."
"I am a new patient for Dr. S Misbah, hematology oncology. I arrived at the medical office at 9:30 and after getting all checked it was 9:32. I was scheduled for a lab appointment. The lab technician informed me she had no orders and I needed to go downstairs to see what they needed. They thought maybe with my rescheduled appointments the orders didn’t come through. They then told me at the doctors office I was not needing to do labs. My actual appointment time to see the doctor was 10am. Three people arrived after me. They waited about five minutes and were called back. I went to the front desk and I said “are they aware I have been here since 9:30? Her response was, “Your appointment was 10am” I said I understand that but I am still sitting here waiting and there was clearly an error in scheduling, I do have other places to be. She went back to check and they told her there was somebody ahead of me and she asked me if I would l like some water. I said no, but I am extremely irritated. At 10:13 I was finally called back. The nurse asked me how I was and I told her extremely unhappy and explained why, her response to me was, “wasn’t your appointment at 10am?” She then asked me some questions and then she said she was going to go check and see if the doctor wanted me to do lab work, at which point I laughed. She came back to tell me the lab work was not needed because I needed to go to Avon to do a specific panel and they only do them at certain times. Once again there was someone being seen ahead of me. That is the last time I saw anyone. I finally got up and left at 10:45. I am 19 weeks pregnant. I am a NEW patient. I understand scheduling errors occur, but the fact that not a single person acknowledged my time being wasted or offered an apology is absolutely appalling. I woke up early for no reason and I live 29 minutes away. I sat in an office from 9:30 until 10:45 without being seen. At what point is MY time valued as a patient? At what point should empathy of been given to me for continuing to sit there and wait with no acknowledgment, apology or seeing anyone to provide patient care or even a simple update of why I’m still waiting or casual check in? A nurse and a front desk receptionist are also well aware at this point that I have been there since 930. It’s now 10:45. Should it be relevant yet that it’s 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment? This is by far the most unprofessional and apathetic medical facility I have ever been to in my life and I have six children with one on the way, so I’ve been to plenty of doctors offices. To say my experience was horrible, is an understatement."
"The Cleveland Clinic charged us $54 for asking a question about dermatology during our teenage daughter’s insurance-covered well child visit. Time to find a new primary care physician (again)!"
"My review is based on the facility, not any of the physicians. I’ve attempted to call and reschedule my appointment for days, but I never got to speak with anyone because each time I called I was immediately on hold and eventually gave up after about a half hour each time. Their website says they’re open at 8a, so after days of trying, I tried to call again at 8a the morning of my appointment (8:15a) but their immediate voicemail says they’re not even open until 9am! This is also the same number that MyChart gave me to cancel my appointment and it got me nowhere. So not only have I been unable to get a hold of anyone during their posted business hours (or during the 9-5 as the voicemail claims), but I’m scheduled for an appointment when they’re apparently not open? I didn’t even agree to this appointment, which is why I have to cancel it. I had called weeks before and asked about scheduling something at Chestnut Commons but my regular doctor was booked out quite a ways, so they said they would put me on a call list to schedule with someone else. Then, out of the blue, I got a text reminder for this appointment that I didn’t agree to and couldn’t attend. So I tried to call asap to reschedule and haven’t been able to get a hold of anyone whatsoever. I’ve never before had such a difficult experience with Cleveland Clinic. I’ve always been a strong advocate for Cleveland Clinic, myself and my family are proud to attend the company. However, just trying to get a hold of this particular facility has been a significant headache so I’m hoping that this review may insight some changes to potentially coordinate their information properly to the public and ensure that their phone calls are actually being answered. Thank you."
"No complaints about the doctor. Dr. Meaghan Parker was great! However I've called the clinic 20 times today and stayed on hold for over 30 mins, 2 of those times. My mom had already tried calling numerous times throughout the week and also couldn't get through. That is just beyond ridiculous and very unprofessional. We sent a MyChart message, which they surprisingly responded to. They called my mom and set up an appointment. My mom realized after talking to them that she needed to switch it to a virtual visit. I tried calling them again, a few times and once again no answer. Finally my sister just went up to the clinic to see if the appointment could be changed. They seemed surprised that someone came to the clinic, for that purpose. When the phone issue was mentioned, they didn't have a comment or explanation. I've never had this issue before, at any other doctors office."
