"Great place for a loved one to go for hospice. The staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They are taking great care of my Mom."
"Great place to work and treatment"
"Currently sitting with my sister who is in severe pain and can hardly breath because of a throat issue. The initial intake nurse was very rude, straight to the point and not very personable. They "kindly" informed us that this is not an urgent care and we will be billed accordingly- acting completely surprised when our insurance was handed over.. When the doctor (McHugh) came in he seemed very irritated and bothered by her insignificant sickness. He was wearing a face mask and my sister asked for on for my 3 year old son who was with us. He said "We'll see, but first who's the patient?" Obviously the one in pain who can barely breathe.. after a bunch of huffing and puffing he left. I only gave this 2 stars because we were brought right back from the waiting room. Other than that unless a limb is about to fall off do not bother these people. Horrible. An Ethics class a day wouldn't help these people!"
"After asking if this was a full service ER and told it was by the front desk clerk it was, I brought my husband in to be checked. He was in dire pain from a staph infection in his knee we later found out at a real ER. This is no more than a CVS urgent Care. PLEASE DON'T GO here for anything that is beyond placing a band aid on a booboo. Lack of concern from staff. Especially the PA .They can't draw blood or even do an ultrasound on a Sunday. After a great deal of wasted time n watching my husband in pain, they sent us to the main campus. Not acceptable on every level . Please change the sign to Akron General booboo center and take down the fake ER sign."
"We waited from 5:30 pm to 1:30 am in the ER. They ran tests but we were still waiting on test results and just couldn't wait all night. Several in the waiting room gave up and left. Others waited and waited. It was like being in purgatory. Most of the staff didn't seem to care. No one even responded when we hit the call button when we were finally admitted to a room. This is not acceptable. This is not quality care. I brought my daughter in with a serious problem, and given her blood clotting disorder, I just couldn't wait for a regular doctor's appointment. But I am now so sorry I brought her to Akron General. If you have a choice, never visit that ER."
