"Took our 14-year-old mastiff mix to this vet due to her constant vomiting and general disorientation. The usual vet we used closed down and merged with this one, so we are now forced to go here in emergency situations. We made an appt and showed up on time to an empty ( of other customers) vet office. We had to wait another 35 to 40 minutes to be seen. The office had a posting on the wall welcoming 2 new additional vet doctors to the practice, bringing their total to 4 vets, and yet, with no other waiting customers, we were forced to wait 40 minutes past our scheduled appointment time to be seen? Strike one against going here as their customer service is already lacking. Next we are brought into a room where an elderly vet takes my dogs temp and listens to her heartbeat while we explained the vomiting, shaking, and disorientation she is suffering from. The vet suggests an array of bloodwork that we agree to. Duets being an afternoon appointment, the bloodwork won't be done until later in the evening, so he will call us then to update us. We ask if there is anything we can do to ease her suffering, to which he says no. We leave, and he calls us an hour or so later to tell us that all the bloodwork is normal. We ask what the next step is, and after already spending over a few hundred for their " expert" opinion, he says give her pepsid!!! He says xrays may help, but probably not. Overall their lack of empathy and understanding of the situation was beyond appalling. I will not return to their practice and would not recommend them to anyone. I would rate them zero stars and negative stars if it were possible. I live in Adfian and will be taking my animals to either the Chelsea Animal Hospital or Toledo Veterinarian Hospital, both of which I would rate highly due to past experiences with them both."
"We recently had to put our Jack Russell Terrier down (Harry) and of course euthanizing an animal is never pleasant. The experience with Diane Griffin, Sierra and Mekala and all office staff was extremely professional and compassionate. What made the difference for me, and it has been a long time since I witnessed euthanasia (thank God), Dr. Griffin sedated Harry first before the lethal injection. My biggest fear was to have to hold him and feel his life leave his body...however with the sedation I held him while he fell asleep. Then they allowed me to leave for his final shot which was a LOAD off my shoulders. I am not sure if 'sedation' prior to euthanization is protocol but it should be. I am sharing this just to let people know I gained much comfort from this and felt it was extremely humane! Thank you for making an unpleasant experience for the most part more comfortable for my husband and I! Harry deserved the best and he received it even in death!"
"I am delighted to offer my highest recommendation for the Adrian Animal Clinic and their exceptional team of groomers. As a devoted pet owner to a furry family member with special needs and a fair share of anxiety, finding adequate care has been a journey. However, since discovering the Adrian Animal Clinic, my worries have been alleviated, and my pet has received unparalleled attention and support. Despite my pet's grouchy demeanor and aversion to grooming, the staff at Adrian Animal Clinic have displayed an extraordinary level of patience, compassion, and expertise. Their dedication to understanding my pet's unique requirements and handling their special needs with the utmost care has been truly remarkable. Even with previous attempts with various specialists, finding a suitable solution seemed elusive until I brought my pet to their clinic. The team's ability to manage my pet's fears and cater to their specific needs speaks volumes about their professionalism and commitment. Their unwavering commitment to providing personalized care has been a source of immense relief and reassurance for me as a pet owner. Knowing that my beloved companion is in such capable hands allows me to breathe easy, free of worry. In addition to their exceptional grooming services, the veterinary care provided by Adrian Animal Clinic is equally outstanding. The veterinarians and support staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure the well-being and comfort of all their furry patients. I am sincerely grateful to have found a place that not only meets but exceeds my pet's needs. Adrian Animal Clinic's unwavering dedication, expertise, and compassionate approach make them an invaluable asset to the community of pet owners. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone seeking the very best care for their beloved animals. I have added Before and After pics. Best, Sonja"
"We’ve taken our pets here for years, they are usually very good but lately, we’re very dissatisfied with them. Our dog was having pain and trouble walking so we took him in to check it out, they found that the cartilage in his hip was completely worn away and he was walking around bone on bone. We scheduled for surgery and it’s been almost three times now that they have canceled with little explanation. Mind you, our schedules are very strict and it’s hard to even get a day off to bring him in. Maybe the first time it was okay, but now it’s just ridiculous. Our poor dog shouldn’t have to walk around in pain all the time."
"The staff at Adrian Animal Clinic made Lilith's first visit very reassuring. They were efficient at getting us checked in, and were friendly. We are currently considering switching veterinary clinics after Lilith's initial visit."
