Reviews of School of PE
"Going through the breadth section and then to the area of specific, the majority of the equations needed to solve the problems are not referenced to the material you will have during the test. Prior to an example problem, the review manual will list out the equations with School of PE equation numbers. Then solving the problems, the solution will reference back to the above School of PE equation numbers. If you want to reference those equations to the test reference material, you will have to search through the manuals using Ctrl F. Studying for the breadth section of the PE test isn’t too bad because you have the CERM, but when you start studying for the area of specific it makes it very difficult and time consuming. I find myself spending more time searching rather than studying. I feel the review material should have a direct reference to the actual PE reference material on test day. If I had known this, I would have gone a different route."
"Don't waste your money with them, after the changes of the PE specifications they couldn't find any good solutions for their students, all they care about that you accepted their polciy that they don't refund. They could extend the access to their courses and that is fair enough and will not cost them any thing, but it will show how they care for their students. Very bad dealing with problems."
"Studying for the Lateral Forces Structural Exam. I am already a licensed P.E. and I just need an extra certification. There are (3) lecture presenters for this test with School of P.E., the one of them that gives the most presentations is really bad. He is constantly admitting that he doesn't know where the equations come from, he always says that he didn't have time to review the slides ahead of time, he always inherits them, when the list the code sections and subsections, there is always typos or listings from previous additions of the code. Lots of really easy spelling errors, many, many technical glitches during the lectures. One of the guys got into an argument with his wife during the lecture. I do not recommend this company."
"I recently took the PE exam and I am excited to say that I passed thanks to the School of PE course. The course was comprehensive and thorough, covering all the necessary topics that are tested on the exam. The instructors were knowledgeable and experienced, and their guidance was valuable in helping me better understand the material. One of the things I appreciated most about the School of PE course was helping me to build my confidence and to understand the format and type of questions to expect on the actual exam. The course also provided excellent study materials, including reference books and a course workbook that I found to be incredibly helpful. The online course format was convenient, allowing me to watch the lessons and participate in discussions from the comfort of my own home. Overall, I highly recommend the School of PE course to anyone preparing for the PE exam. It is a great investment in your career and will provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed on the exam."
"I recommend School of PE to anyone who has failed the FE exam before or anyone who is trying to pass it for the first time. I have studied on my own and taken the exam twice before and failed. The third time, I signed up for their monthly subscription and studied using their materials and online recordings for two months and passed :) The instructors are amazing and the practice exams they provide are extremely helpful. If you complete all their topics and take their practice exams and get a good score on the practice exam, you will pass the FE exam. Good luck!"
