"I LOVE the beef brisket here. You have the option of lean or moist. I get the moist, its fattier but more tender. They have the most delicious peach cobbler, too, although it is seasonal. The restaurant has a very patriotic feel to it, and if you're there at noon, everyone rises and sings the national anthem."

"Love this place. Been going for years pretty much every week if not every other week. I get a pound of brisket and make sure to specify that I want it LEAN because I don't want any fat on it. Or at least minimal fat. Never been a problem till the past several months, 6 out of the last 8 times I've gone there I've received brisket with pieces that are half fat/half meat if not more fat than meat. In the picture that is a pile of fat I had to separate from the meat. Just unacceptable to pay $32 for a pound of meat, 2 sides of fries and a drink and get that. The meat I do get with my order is still good, just think I should be getting what I ordered."

"Visiting from out of town for work, I saw the reviews and gave Mission a chance. Overall, I'd give it a solid 4.5. Since half stars aren't possible, based on food, service, and atmosphere, I rounded up to a 5. If, like me you'd never been to a mission location. You pick your choices up front. They call pit your name. Pick up your tray and enjoy. I wasn't sure and wanted to try a few things. They were extra helpful and suggest a 1/4lb order of brisket instead of a half pound. Great suggestion! I ordered 1/4lb of moist brisket and 5 bone ribs with Mac n Cheese. The brisket didn't disappoint. The crust on the Mac n Cheese was solid. The ribs were tender and fall off the bone. The only note I have is someone mentioned the ribs without sauce have a bit of chili powered flavor. I agree. I would have preferred a bit more seasoning but this is for masses not for me at home. There's a 6 pack of spaces at the table. I sampled them all and did a bit of mixing myself. Overall great experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean and well maintained with solid food. I'd go back next time I'm around a Misson BBQ."
