"They don’t honor their gift cards. Poorly worded menu, unpleasant staff, overpriced, small portioned sub par food. Took our family of 7. In total spent around $150. My sister in law used to like this place so I drove the 45 minutes from home to buy her a gift card as a present. Saturday was the THIRD time she attempted to use it. First two times their machine was down and couldn’t read the card. This last time the cashier, Leah, looked my sil dead in the face and said there’s no money on this card. My sil looked it up on the website on the back of the card and sure enough the money is on it. My sil showed Leah who said well, there’s nothing I can do about it. I was breastfeeding my infant in the car while this was going on and my hubby text a pic of their menu. I’ll attach pic. On the bottom it shows 3 street tacos and says pick your meat. Then it shows the 3 price points for the different types of meat on your taco. I told him three of the options at the $12 price point. Leah told my husband you can’t mix and match. I came in 20 minutes later. The fam had just gotten food. Hubby handed me mine and told me they wouldn’t honor what the menu says a bc that you can only choose one type of meat. So I looked at it. Three tiny tacos with crushed up chicken bits and hunks of onion and a couple leaves of cilantro. I gave it back and got a refund. Breastfeeding momma who hadn’t eaten all day but I wasn’t paying for attitude or gross food. The last time we had been there it wasn’t good and we ended up at the Chinese place next door. The only reason we went back is we had been in the neighborhood and my sil had the gift card I had given her. This was our last visit. This place used to be good. Also I tried hubbys left overs later. I had to open a Walmart fiesta salad to add toppings to make it edible."
"I just wanna start off by saying this place has been mine and my bf favorite place to go to. The last couple times I went in the employees where pleasant and the restaurant was well taking care of and clean. Although all of these things were good the food has been a little off lately. Other than that I can tell the staff are trying to make strides to fix the issues. I still love it here."
"I've never had an issue here until today. Three shrimp and a smidge of everything else for 5.50 each taco. She said their shrimp supplier switched to bigger shrimp so they are only allowing 3 a taco??? This is one of my favorite spots, also i had the same taco the night before and it was amazing and filling so I called and explained. I was all the way home so after a long day for all of us, they apologized and helped me out for my future next visit. Thanks, Leah."
"I absolutely love this place. The food is INCREDIBLE and freshhhhhh. And them having a patio makes it even better. The two they had working the counter today were super nice and fun. Tons of options, including those who are vegetarian/vegan. Years of going here and the quality has never gone down."
