"My mother was there for ~2 weeks. The therapy staff and nurses were excellent. Case management was terrible! My mother has Alzheimer's and case management was directed to communicate all issues/decisions through me, her son and POA. Several times I interacted with Jalen (I think that was his name) about specific concerns and he would tell me he would get answers and call me. He never called me in the two weeks my mother was there! Upon my mother's discharge my brother was picking her up. He and my mother were literally walked out by a staff member until they reached the lobby when a nurse stopped them and told them she was not discharged because they were waiting for a chest x-ray result. Mind you, the staff had her belongings already packed and on a cart when he arrived. We knew nothing about a chest x-ray, much less that results were pending. By this time all of my mother's personal belongings had already been removed from her room and my 72 year old mother was sitting in a wheelchair in the lobby! Not a single person could tell us when they results would be in our what the outcome would be if the results showed something concerning. Case management was clearly lost and no idea how to proceed but told us we were welcome to wait for the results...WHILE MY MOTHER SAT IN THE LOBBY!! And again, Jalen said he would call with the results of the chest x-ray if we wanted to go ahead and leave. HE NEVER CALLED! Without a doubt the most unprofessional chain of events I have ever experienced with a healthcare facility!!"

"I came to Encompass two weeks ago I will be leaving this evening. The car I received here was not what I expected it was actually better,everyone was polite and respectful and didn't get annoyed at all my questions. Everyone introduced them self and what we are going to do today in terms of their specific qualifications.somone brought me a daily schedule of therapy times and the person I would be working with.i would recommend Encompass to anyone who needs rehab after surgery The doctors and staff really listen to your concerns and spend quality time with you. Even the Galen nursing student follow the routine of telling you who they are and why they are coming in your room they are respectful and courtious. My PT On and speach therapist we're great they gave you a schedule of what was going on that day and made you feel welcome and happy to be there. Thank you, Nancy"
