"Pretty solid food, got the surf n turf rolls, fried green tomatoes, the stuffed creole bird (easily 2 meals itself), and two drinks. Wife got the Mac n cheese and a mocktail. Food was solid, drinks were good and strong. Definitely seems like a place you need to get reservations, was very busy. Only complaint would be the music was a bit loud. But service was great, food was great. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to another visit, so many things on the menu we wanna try."
"The food was amazing, very flavorful. Miss Sayla was awesome very sweet and her recommendations were on point. We had the brunch special lamb chops and french toast breakfast."
"Visited here my mom birthday. I heard good things about this place from friends. The interior is beautifully decorated and staff was so friendly, I loved that! I gave four stars because they only offered a limited menu for Valentines which I was disappointed. There were other items on the main menu I wanted to try. The Valentines menu offered only a few selections. I tried the Jambalaya with fried rice and it was just okay. My mom enjoyed her meal so that’s all that matters. Might give this place another try in the summer so I can order off the main menu."
"Looks pricey on the surface but the entree portions are insane. I got the creole bird, expecting a chicken breast and got HALF A CHICKEN. They definitely give you your money's worth. Staff were all very nice, a great place to eat when you can. Definitely going back."
"We visited House of Creole for the first time tonight, (September 23, 2023). We decided to sit on the patio, which was charmingly set up with wrought iron tables topped with bright orange umbrellas, a seating area with a fire pit and a nice outside bar. This is surrounded by century-old brick buildings set far back from busy Euclid Avenue. Light jazz music fills the air, but not so loudly that you can't hear the person across the table speak. We were greeted by our server, Taylor almost immediately. She was polite, personable, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We dined on Gumbo, Etouffe, and salmon. We finished with ice cream. The food was flavorful and came to our table hot. I would highly recommend the salmon. Prices were less than other high-end restaurants downtown. The atmosphere was unpretentious and friendly. If you're looking for a relaxing place to eat with excellent food and an attentive staff, this is the place to go."
