"I started the Cosmetology program in September of 22 and just recently graduated! I would just like to say I love program! The educators are all very wonderful. I didn’t realize how much I really learnt from them and the school until after I graduated. They prepare you for so much more than you think at the time. Yes I understand that it just isn’t possible to learn everything in school but they really do teach you a lot. Miss Lindsay is AMAZING at doing state board preparation with you! I did have my ups and down in school. It’s not easy but like they always told me, school is what you make of it. Once I started to really understand what they were saying I had the best time ever! I met one of my best friends here :) I really did enjoy all of my time here, the lessons I’ve learnt, and all the talks with Nicole! I would recommend the school to anyone!"

"I have been coming here for seven plus years. During my visit yesterday (11.08.23), my cosmetology student Ava was very professional and knowledgeable. She does a fantastic job. During the processing of my highlights something went wrong. Ava went and got the educator who explained what happened to both her and me. I was not worried knowing my hair will be fixed (must return within a week if you do not want to have to pay for the correction). Please do not take to social media if you experience something like this and put the business and students on blast. They are students learning with the guidance of professionals. I have only had three major mishaps and a couple very minor ones in seven years and the situation was rectified every time and my hair was fixed. I highly recommend Summit Salon Academy. Professionalism is displayed throughout the Academy/school. They take the Board of Health/Cosmetology guidelines very serious and the place is immaculately clean. Lastly, what I like is that Ms. V. (instructor), is always honest if the type of hair change I want done to my hair or highlights would or wouldn't work and explains why. I love her honesty because it not only saves me from disappointment but is a teaching moment for the student/s. Ms. V. is professional as an instructor and I see her interact with her students and clients multiple times throughout their time in the students' chair."
