"My husband and I stopped in here for Happy Hour. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple of glasses of wine. Very cool atmosphere. A little while later, we placed an order for food. The "Maryland crab cakes" were the worst I've ever had and this is a go to on the menu for this girl. The crab meat was shredded, no veggies to found and if there was Old Bay, I couldn't taste it. The truffle fries were good in spite of having no truffle oil on them. I will never order the "crab cakes" again, but since the bartender was super sweet and the happy hour glasses of wine were excellent, we'll give it another try."

"We started with the Meatball & Feta Dip for Appetizers and both tasted great. Then we had an amazing bottle of wine to go with few delicious cocktails. Tried the Chicken Piccata and the Salmon, both were cooked beautifully. Chocolate Mousse Cake and coffee with Bailey’s for dessert. Service was outstanding! Thank you for a great night!"

"It was a pretty cool place we had a room off to ourselves and it was nice.There was a party of us. The French onion soup was some of the best I've ever had.I would definitely like to eat that again.I got the rib appetizer with mac and cheese and the jalapeno bread. The mqc and cheese were very good. The bread was definitely dried out, so I was disappointed. My wife and daughter got the Chicken Picatta. They both thought that it was good. Other friends got the Osso Bucco, Seafood Pasta, and steaks, and they liked it as well. Overall, it's not a bad place to eat. The service could have been better. We ordered drinks and didn't see our waitress for well over a half hour. Everyone at the table was waiting for drink refills. I never mind paying for good food. But the food and service just didn't add up to what the bill was. I don't believe I would go back."

"Date night at @verandabistrobar in Westlake. Great service from our server Jackie who made several food recommendations. First time visit. The patio is not to be missed. Shady and comfortable. We hit the happy hour food menu pretty hard. We got the herbed goat cheese, , pears organic honey on a toasted baguette. Subtle and good. The Kobe beef sliders were the right size for our appetite. The Hungarian peppers stuff with veal and pork with Asiago cheese and balsamic drizzle served with marinara had the right bite and they were huge. @jillrn_17 got the fresh French onion soup which was a best bite. I got a salad I didn’t have room for ( lunch tomorrow ) and Jill’s whimsical drink was a Banana’s Foster that had a banana liqueur, rye whiskey , homemade banana syrup and almond bitters. Great taste but strong"

"Super chic restaurant. Good menu with a wide variety of food. Osso buco was fork tender, beautiful and delicious. Steaks were cooked correct up to temp and delicious. They had a huge variety of bourbons to select from (Pappy Van Winkle?!) and bartenders were helpful in giving you options of new different ones to try. Would highly recommend and we plan to return."
