"This experience has been a total nightmare. The biggest complaint I will touch on here today is the patient experience personnel. When issues came up where my wife is supposed to have a large fluid collection in her lung removed and a small collection around an area a splenectomy was performed. The small fluid was to be addressed first per Dr's. This was put off for 4 days do to orders of a hold on medicine by the IR team that was not followed through with by the Nursing staff. If the IR Dr. Didn't catch the failure to hold certain medicine in a high risk procedure. After meds were put on hold the IR Dr. Stated in her assessment on MyChart that the large fluid build up in the lung need to be addressed immediately without imaging guidence due to the severity. This all started on the 6th and at this point it is the 8th. Frustrations raise as nothing is being done and Patient experience is called to the room. This gentleman (that should be addressed by words I won't use) had no intention on getting any information at all on the the experience we are having. He was more interested in over talking and giving demands for the patient to comply with. Was an absolute rude A Hole with no concerns what so ever about the patient experience. I have been bed side at many hospitals through OH with family. I have met with many patient experience personnel and this one was by far the rudest and most disrespectful I have ever met. BFCC-QIO"
"My mom had a knee revision on July 5th at the Brain and Spine hospital, and the nurses/service/cleanliness on the 9th floor was horrible. Night shift was fantastic, but the day shift seemed too busy to be bothered with ensuring that my mom had her medication, patient privacy, connecting with patients and even basic things, like identifying themselves when entering a patient room. We shared our concerns and were given a $10 Giant Eagle gift card! Really?!?"
"State of the art Robotic Technology and the most skilled, caring nurses you could ask for! Especially grateful and impressed with RN Melanie , (room 365) during my overnight recovery from 6 robotic surgery procedures on March 3, 2023."
"I'm going to give them 5 stars, because they took care of my daughter so well and she recovered from her surgery and was given great care and they are the best; However there was some rude staring by some staff members and maybe that is because they need more diversity training or something."
"I have been going here for the past 15 years for all of my medical needs. The Drs takes the time to explain everything to me in a way that I understand. They explain my options and what they belive is the best course of action for me. All of the staff down to the cleaning personal do everything possible to keep me comfortable. I drive 2 1/2 hours to get here but its well worth my time in order to get quailty care."
