Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers 5153 North Leavitt Road, Lorain, OH 44053

"My husband and I went through the drive-through about 6:30 PM and we waited for 32 minutes just for onion rings and cheese curds. when we got home, which isn’t even 10 minutes away, the onion rings were barely warm and they tasted like they were sitting out and just refried to get hot. I ordered a large cheese curd and it came in a hamburger box, so I called and spoke with a man and his name started with a J I explained to him about the cheese curds, and he just kept saying I promise you if you got them in a white box it’s because we were out of the hamburger boxes. I told him I have ordered these a couple times before with a burger, and the burger came in a hamburger box, but I got a white box full of cheese curds. I said they have always been enough for like 3 people and this time barely enough for 2. He was rude and didn’t try to fix anything so I just hung up on him. I have ordered from the location in Avon and I have gotten cheese curds with a burger and the curds came in a cheese box a couple times, and it was full, a couple times in a white box. That location is much friendlier busier, and the longest we’ve ever had to wait was 15 minutes. I will order again from the app this time and if it’s the same issue, I will never eat there again. I will take my business to Avon."

"This was my second time eating here. The first time was great. This time the burgers were burnt and so salty it made my tongue burn. Cheese curds were burned and tasted like they were fried in old oil. Customer service was great."

"The employees are very nice and welcoming. The place is also very neat and clean. The food can definitely improve though. I ordered the cheesesteak burger and it tasted weird. The fries were decent but had a lot of grease."

"This is the second time I have visited this location and had to wait extensively long for 3 items. Along with poor customer service skills to boot. The attendant at the drive through was short with me and was giving bad attitude for simple menu questions. This time I just ordered 3 ice cream snacks and it took 12 minutes for the simple order to be completed, and that was a 12 minute wait at the pick up window on top of a 2-5 minute wait at the order box/menu. The place just opened and they owners can't see why there only at 3.9 on google ?? Go to 5 guys for your next burger meal. And DQ for ice cream."

"UPDATE: The district manager of Freddy's got in touch with me via a personal phone call. She offered me 2 coupons for 2 free meals to give Freddy's another chance to make it right. We went today and ordered 2 meals. Wow, what a difference!!! The burgers were hot and fresh and topped with a good amount of toppings! The fries were hot and fresh as well!! This is what I expected the first time I visited! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and my order was taken right away and the wait to get my meal was short! This is what will set you apart from the rest of the restaurants in the area! Great job Freddy's! A+! If you had a bad experience on your first visit, give them another try! They will make it right! Walked in and ordered right away. Took a while to get our food. Burger was burnt around the edges as was the veggie burger (it was black, and over $10) Food was ok. Went back up to order custard sundaes and stood there for over 10 min. Nobody acknowledged us or attempted to take our order. We ended up going to dairy queen. Disappointed is an understatement. I know they haven't been open that long, so i will give them another try. They had at least 6 employees behind the counter. Acknowledge your customers!!"
