"I'm a student and I'll say this school saved my life! At my old school I was bullied a lot I was even threatened and nothing happened this school oh, I was bullied once and so far the person hasn't said anything since I went to administration. I can assure you you're kids will love it here good staff teachers that get their point across and make it fun and interactive. Respective of all cultures. Foods okay not as good as my old schools but the rest of it's factors make it great. Best school 10/10 love it keep up the good work!"
"Well I was a student at the school and 5he teachers will lower ur grades if u did do ur work"
"Older teachers are a bit out-dated and lack interactive learning styles for the kids. Certain guidance counselor hinder rather than help. Administration needs to follow through more. The front desk and student services are top notch, kind, and easy to talk to."
"This school had to be one of the best and brightest FWCS schools. Yes, it has to do with the students and teachers, but from what I see, it's the principal that takes it all together and leads. That's Mr. King. He started the year I started middle school (6th grade). Now, my younger brother (6th grade) has him as his principal and I am thoroughly glad and relived because so many principal at FWCS can be terrible. By the end of my 6th grade year, he gathered everyone in the school to the gym and basically had a heart to heart with the kids in a professional manner. It was not about school work, the future, or anything. I remember it being about feeling secure in your own skin and not worrying what others think of you. That's why I believe he was such a great principal because he just CARED. That is what society needs and that is why Jefferson Middle Schoolers come out ON TOP! He also cares about the music department instead of thinking it is a burden like a lot of other teachers and staff might. IT IS NOT, by the way. This review may seem to be a lot about Mr. King instead of Jefferson, but, to me, it's the same thing because he sculpted the school into a safe learning environment. Additionally, if I could describe him in a sentence it would be he lays down the law when necessary, but will always give the benefit of the doubt where it should happen. For example, if a kid at JMS would get in a fight with another kid, he's not just going to punish the kid. He wants to understand WHY. Then he'll find out that the kid has family issues, like an alcoholic father or a unfit home environment. He'd find out that the kid is being abused by their family and that punishing them would just make it harder. And I think that's amazing of him. I hope he sees this because I want him to know that he is remembered by us former middle schoolers."
"Love this school. The staff are amazing. My teachers are amazing. And with the renovations I did not have to endure the heat during the summer."
