"I will admit it has been awhile since I’ve been to Tuba but I will say that when it comes to craving pretzels, Tuba does it right. The owners are amazing people who are very passionate about the food they serve. They are very much a “buy local” restaurant and whatever is not made in-house is sourced from local vendors. The Swabian style pretzels are fantastic. The unique shape allows for you to get both fluffy, soft bits of pretzel along with a thinner crunchier portion as well. Let’s talk about mustard. Drew, the owner, makes his own and I swear it’s some of my favorite mustard on the planet. I buy it in bulk to make my deviled eggs with as well as put it on all the sandwiches. ALL of them. You may say, “well who has a favorite mustard? I don’t even like mustard!” Then I would say, “me. I have a favorite mustard and I get it at Tuba Baking Company.”"
"The owners and staff are friendly and personable. You'll feel like you've known them as old friends after going just a time or two. The food is great, haven't had anything I didn't like yet and I've tried many things. Great beer selection too. So glad to have another business in Dayton!"
"Love this spot in Dayton KY. Really great food and interesting beverage selections! Currywurst was cooked really well, the sauce was on point, and the fries were crisp. It's a cozy space inside, but they are putting in a tent on the patio to serve outside year round too, so it should be easier to find a spot in the cold months."
"Small mom and pop restaurant that serves genuine German food. The pretzels are hot and fresh. Try the beer cheese with them, it is fantastic. We came for pretzels but will return for lunch. Try the pickles they are crisp with little spice and sweet taste."
"This is a very small restaurant with only three tables and a bar. Probably not fit for a big company. It was the three of us, we sat at the bar, then moved to the table. First thing first: you have to try the pretzel. The are fresh and really delicious. Maybe take some beer cheese to go with it. The beer itself is also good, at least the dunkel we tried. And I will mention separately, the staff is awesome, they make the experience personal, not like in a big place where you are one of a dozen table for the server."
