"I’ve been coming to Piggy’s for my entire life. I remember riding my bike to the store for a snack as a young kid. Now days my wife and I stop regularly for drinks, a sandwich or the occasional ingredient you ran out of. The employees offer a kind small town kind of welcoming when you enter and excellent service while you’re in. I’m glad to see a small business thriving. Keep up the great work."
"I worked there for 2 days. Before that my family and I were regular costumers. Someone was there everyday for something for over 2 years. When I started working,it was evenings which means I don't see my kid that day. Those 2 days I worked my son rode his bike up to see me for a few minutes. He was a paying customer. Came in, bought himself a snack or drink and sat down at that table that customers sit at to read the paper or drink their coffee or watch the keno ,he stayed out of the way anytime it was busy. Came to the counter when no one was in line. When not busy I was told I can step outside for a few minutes which I did when he would come see me. After my son left,I was told my son makes the store look bad and he isn't allowed to stop in anymore . Again he was always a paying customer who wasn't any issue at all and we were regular costumers for over 2 years. They seem to have an issue with kids because earlier that same night a kid came in, looked around and didn't see what he wanted and then left and then the 2 "ladies" were then gossiping about the kid. So to me,kids aren't welcome there even if they are paying customers and since my kid made the store look bad for doing the same thing any other customer did then to me that meant I wasn't welcome either and neither was any of the rest of my family so I finished my shift and never went back. Edit to add that me taking time when it's not busy to ask my son how he day was is no different than anyone who works there standing around bsing with customers"
