Lenoxburg General Store

"FINALLY!! I stopped and went inside the place where I always passed by and said , "I should stop there !" It's a cool little,instantly Kentucky cozy, general store . There's nostalgic signage all along the walls, and I'm guessing what are look, but don't touch older looking toys on top of shelves . There's 3 or 4 shelves holding various products and very basic grocery items. On the other side of that are the dining tables, of which there are roughly a dozen . It was a cold and overcast day,so I chose a sunshine table ,trying to absorb all 99billion kilvenite coming slow motion through the window ! Luckily, the lunch special was a bowl of piping hot chili and grilled cheese on Texas toast ! Let me describe it in my Kentucky French, De` Freaking Licious !! Service was awesome, and with a smile ! Bill paid , no dessert (this time), and belly full ,left a happy customer. Can't wait to come back !"

"Wife and I stopped in for lunch. I got the "Hot Mama" burger and added bacon to it. It was two 1/3 pound ground beef patties covered with jalapenos and melted pepper jack cheese. It was absolutely delicious. My wife tried some and said it was the best burger she has ever had. I also had a side of onion rings and they were also fantastic. Wife got "The Big D" burger that was similar to a Frisch's Big Boy burger. She said it was very good along with the "6 minute fries". Place was a little chilly as it looked like they may have been catering another party soon and they kept taking tons of things out the door. No big deal. People were friendly and the place was nice. Would definitely recommend. A tad on the pricey side."

"I absolutely love this little gem hidden deep in the country. It's a great place to sit back after a days work and enjoy a meal that tastes real! I have enjoyed EVERY meal that I've had there so far and look forward to the next. Angela is a very sweet lady who's not afraid to give you a welcoming smile when you walk in. And the entire crew makes you feel at home. Thank God that there are still simple good little places around out there like Lenoxburg General Store."
