"We had reservations at 7pm on a Tuesday night at the bar. We were seated promptly and taken care of by lovely Madison. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm. We ordered two Aperol Spritzes and they were huge! We followed with the Ricotta toast, which was also huge. We weren't fans of the presentation though. The combination of the creamy ricotta, nduja (mild spicy sausage), truffle honey, and balsamic was fantastic. It just would have been easier to eat if we were able to spread the toast ourselves. Consequently, the toast underneath all of the cheese just turned soggy. The plate it was served on was too small to maneuver the knife and fork making it difficult to eat. The Bucatini Carbonara was rich and sinful. The Honey Pie was fantastic. However, the Amish Chicken Picatta was confusing. It was topped with so much arugula salad that you couldn't even see the chicken. The dressing from the salad combined with the sauce from the chicken and changed the whole picatta profile. We would also would prefer a lemon slice for squeezing instead of fried lemon slices. The chicken was cooked perfectly though. And again, the plate was too small to use utensils without food falling off the plate. We look forward to returning to try more of the menu items."
"This place is a gem! So refreshing to have delicious, solid Italian in Cincy! Homemade pasta and sauce was on point, everything was really! My husband had spaghetti and meatballs (also homemade), and I had the baked ziti, which came out looking like a huge slice of lasagna, and I loved it! THE LAYERS!!! Tiramisu was beautifully presented, and even though I was full, I was not leaving until I finished every amazing bite! Atmosphere cozy and chill, and Miri, our server was very sweet and helpful! We will be back for sure!"
"Overall they have delicious food and a romantic environment. It was nice but not stuffy and the service was great. Perfect for an intimate birthday celebration. The one downside is it felt a little too expensive. The pricing was on par or more expensive than some of the other nice Italian restaurants we have visited. The food was good, but to us it didn't have the wow factor that some of the other places have for the same cost. Of course this is subjective so ultimately, I would definitely recommend trying them out for yourself!"
"I am surprised why this place doesn't have more reviews or is not as popular as it should be. It is undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant in Cincinnati. Had some of the best pastas and drinks here. And nothing is overpriced. We started with a Ricotta Toast and it was so much better than we could have expected and also very filling. The sauce on the Gnocchi is insanely good. I am not a fan of Gnocchi in general but I was in love with this dish. Really good pizzas too. We also had the sweetest server. Very polite and took great care of us. We were celebrating our anniversary so they also gave a flute of champagne to celebrate. Definitely give this place a try."
"Wowza. We’d been for drinks and were excited for dinner. Chic and cozy with moody table lighting, Rosie’s has a wonderful vibe. Interesting cocktails - we got their take on an old fashioned - and a nice wine list of Italians. We started with their fun and yummy lasagna bites, perfect for sharing. The house salad was a delight with a delicious red wine vinaigrette, salami, lots of shaved parm, and housemade giardiniera, also perfect for sharing. The hot honey pizza had a nice char and fresh basil. The rigatoni vodka, ordered with two tender meatballs, was also garnished with fresh basil. Great dinner tonight and plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. YAY! Oh, and outstanding service from the delightful Josh who recommended everything we ate and was so right about it all. No question we’ll be back, again and again. Go! You won’t be disappointed, but do consider a reservation. We went after a show on a Sunday afternoon and by six they had a full house. But go!!"
