Richie's Chicken

"I hadn't been to Richie's in a while. I went to the Colerain location. Their cornbread is on point. Taste like cake. The Spicy Boned Chicken is good. However their regular wings tastes bland, with no seasoning at all. Their Peach Cobbler tasted old. I had to add some spices to their coleslaw to bring out the "it factor." Lastly, it should be no confusion when requesting specific chicken parts. If I request a 3 piece which consists of a leg, thigh, and wing, I shouldn't find a wing and two thighs in my bag. Added note, the chicken should be freshly fried, not chicken that has been laying there for who knows how long. I can taste the difference."

"I order two dinners, peach cobbler mac and cheese. My 3 piece meal was wrong received a breast not a thign. Mac and cheese nasty peach cobbler was old and only crust dry. I have returned several times and still same I don't care for it. Next time family wants this I will pass"

"My grandmother loves Richies! We eat here often and they never disappoint. The music selection was much needed today as I waited for my order. Sunday gospel jams, very uplifting!"

"Update 2: I received a call from the owner after sending my contact information via email per their request. When I say that I have NEVER received the amount of care, concern, etc from an establishment in my life. Richies has a life long customer in me. Things happen and I know that. What they did to make things right made all the difference for me. Thank you for taking the time to address my concerns. We will be back again soon! Update 1: The whole family got food poisoning. Very upsetting. Drove down from Columbus on a whim last night since I kept seeing pictures all over my Facebook feed. They were close to closing but had everything on the menu ready to purchase. Ended up getting a 20 piece, 4 large sides with rolls and that set me back $61. Not too bad for feeding a family of 6. The chicken was hands down one of the best I've had besides making it myself at home. The wedges were top-notch! The Mac and cheese desperately needed salt. The candied yams were great! Whole family loved the food. If we're back in the area we will definitely be stopping by again."
