Family Dollar 519 South 2nd Street, Ripley, OH 45167

"I am absolutely speechless right now. I have lived in Ripley since May and since moving here, have been shopping at Family Dollar daily for what i dont feel like taking the drive to Walmart in Maysville for. My wife and i both frequently shop there with no issues and know many of the employees, including even living on the same street as some. After shopping and getting $28 worth of food, outside stuff for summer etc and checking out as usual, an employee (in front of our child, mind you) accuses my wife of taking makeup without paying My wife and I are adamantly against makeup and after being told this abruptly after literally paying for things, we were obviously confused and wanted to see what they were talking about and the employee shows us a grainy video alleging there was some sort of eyelashes in my wife's hand and that we stole them, to which she obviously denied because we again, dont use makeup. I asked to speak to the manager and instead of simply resolving the situation by proving my wife stole (which she did not) or putting a manager on the phone, the employee decided to try to call the police on us out of nowhere. I am disgusted at not only the way the employee reacted to both my wife and i being extremely calm and confused and simply trying to fix the situation at hand, but also that a store would even accuse customers that shop there DAILY of this behavior with no substantial evidence. Absolute insanity."

"We don't have a grocery store in our town so Family dollar is where we go to get milk, bread, eggs in between grocery shopping. Also best prices on household cleaning products and paper products. They have snacks, gift cards of all sorts, greeting cards and personal care items. Plenty of parking, never too crowded."

"We have 2 stores dollar general and family dollar. The dollar general is new. And there next to each other.I usually go to family dollar because of the people especially because of Mary who is retiring. Most people don't like change and I did not want to make change so I still go to family dollar unless they don't have something,hen I go next door. The people there are very helpful when you can't find something."

"Not to great, super rude staff, not CLEAN. Floors are nasty shelves are dusty . Not well stocked usually a mess of boxes in at least 1 or more aisles. With the opening of a new Dollar General next door it definitely worth the five extra steps to go to a better customer experience and better hospitality."
