Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - Centerville

"Wow! I love chicken tenders and this place delivered! I tried the buffalo chicken wrap and it delivered. Plenty of sauce and flavor on that wrap. It looks small but it is very filling and delicious I can't recommend it enough. They have a variety of unique drinks flavors, watermelon tea, strawberry lemonade, lemonade and coke cola pop products. They also offer dessert options - I had to pass this time but I will definitely be back to try!"

"I had really high hopes for Huey Magoo's after the Lee's restaurant got replaced with an expensive sandwich shop, and bought lunch there today. I was very disappointed and didn't finish the whole meal. In a nutshell, it's Raising Cane's Chicken in a different container. I was, overall, disappointed because I expected something different/unique. I had a banana pudding and 5 piece breaded/fried chicken instead of having the chicken tossed in a sauce. The soda can tab is for scale. Presentation was good. The chicken was hot and fresh, and had some sort of seasoning on it. Same as fries as well. The coleslaw was crisp and crunchy, and fresh. The banana pudding was also fresh and very good! It had actual banana slices and cookie in it. The best parts about the experience and food was their amazing customer service and great banana pudding."

"Great food, great service, great environment! I love that they have more options than competitors, such as canes! I got the 3 piece meal with the grilled option, and the chicken was perfect! Not dry or over burnt, just right. I also got a free extra tender! I forgot to add a cookie to my order, and after finding out, the owner gave me one for free. It's definitely worth it!"

"I tried the standard breaded, grilled, and buffalo sauce tenders. Each was flavorful, though the buffalo sauce rendered the tender slightly soggy - a common occurrence. I appreciated the vinegar-forward kick in the buffalo sauce. The tenders, though smaller than Canes', stood out due to their lighter and superior batter and meat quality. On a side note, my girlfriend, a devoted ranch lover, believes this ranch rivals that of Wing Stop, her usual gold standard. Next time, I'm keen on trying the sandwich or wrap. The staff was very friendly and attentive."

"Granted, it was the grand opening so it better be perfect. The chicken tenders were tender and juicy. The variety of sauces definitely kicked it up a notch. Personally, I’m not a fan of crinkle fries. If I were in charge I would have kicked it up another notch above their obvious competition (arf, arf) and done fresh cut fries like In-N-Out."
