"I really can't say enough about this restaurant. This seafood restaurant is an absolute gem. The waitstaff is so helpful and kind. The menu is fantastic with many options to choose from. The food tasted amazing as well. Then it came to the reason we came here...the Alaskan King Crab legs. If you're coming here to eat, you gotta try the Crab Legs first! You regret it! "Service was impeccable and as attentive as anyone would expect at a state dinner in a European palace! Jay’s is old world charm but not stale or stuffy in the least. I loved the Dayton history pieces used as decor! The food was phenomenal! Totally homemade crab Rangoon from scratch was a first for me! Delicious! And the key lime pie was soooo good!"

"I would encourage to have a reservation. The place was packed on a Friday evening. The service was very good. The best scallops I had in Dayton. The shrimp was also very good, flavorful and soft. I got the gumbo (chefs special- not on the menu). It was good. The sausage had a unique flavor. Wife got the pasta which was decent as well. The place looks a little old. They validate the parking."

"I have been here twice now, the first my fiancé's birthday and the second for the birthday of my fiancé's mother. Both times were lovely due to the excellent atmosphere, superb conduct of the staff, and of course the food. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fancy place to dine!"
