The Village Inn

"My wife and I went here this afternoon because my wife has been wanting to go there for years now so I finally took her. When we walked in there was 2 ladies at the bar and the bartender brought us the menus and took our drink order, we both ordered sweet tea, we both received regular unsweetened tea. A family of 4 walked in and the bartender sat them took there order and gave them their drinks while my wife and I that had been there waiting for our order to be taken for 10 minutes prior to the family walking in. We waited for about 10 minutes longer after to put our order in then finally got up paid for our drinks and went to Laffs in germantown. We were at the Village Inn for 25-30 minutes and our order was never taken. Very poor service especially since there was only 2 other people in there when we showed up. The food is ok sometimes. Very inconsistent. Most reviews on here are definitely overrated. If you want decent bar food with reasonable service skip the Village Inn and go to Laffs the next town over."

"Very good food and service despite not being able to hear due to Trivia Night going on! We went there wanting subs but they were out of sub buns that night."

"The food is mediocre. The prices are a bit high. We haven't been impressed, especially lately. Tried the beer- battered fries, hoping by the description over the phone that they would be amazing. But they were just regular fries, nothing special. Wings were ok. They charged $1 extra to make them naked."

"Very tasty everything...except the burger. Maybe it was too full of filler? We all tried the burger but no amount of ketchup or cheese was going to fix the lack of meat and flavor. However, the chili and the grilled cheese were bomb!!! We will be back for those delicious masterpieces for sure. Also, your wait staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Thank you!"

"Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Got the chicken bacon ranch. Added red and green peppers. Toppings are edge to edge, small uniformly cut and spread. Crust is thin and perfectly crispy. ALSO one of the best waitresses we ever had. We were there for late dinner and she was beyond friendly, bubbly, and personable. She also was fast and replenishing water before asked. Hopefully they know what they have and keep her happy. Usually I comment about the atmosphere and facilities but that all paled in comparison to the pizza and service."
