"This is the best shelter ever. The staff Tiger, Cole are are caring and compassionate. They take the best care of their animals and love every one of them. The animals are saved from horrific conditions and are all healthy, spayed/neutered and have shots when you adopt. I will always adopt from CCAWL. Top notch organization. Please consider adopting from and donating to them."
"Tiger & staff are amazing & work tirelessly to save as many animals as possible! The care & compassion at CCAWL is unsurpassed. I don’t understand people complaining about the adoption process. They try their best to make sure the animals are being adopted by legitimate, responsible, capable pet owners so the pets have a real chance for a great life! I’ve adopted two rescued cocker spaniels & appreciate the opportunity to purchase a fully vetted, adult dog for such a bargain price! Thank God for them, because most of these animals had horrendous starts to their lives, & certain death coming if not rescued."
"Got my sweet Bella from CCAWL a few years ago and have been supporting them ever since. They do so much good work, especially in regards to rescueing dogs from puppy mills. Here's my girl the day I brought her home and now."
"CCAWL does amazing work! Pulling from Amish mills is difficult and bringing dogs in so broken, neglected, and with no medical care is expensive. They fully vet their dogs with a vet check and vaccinating, spay or neuter, checking for heart worm, starting preventions, just to name a few of their expenses. To purchase one of these dogs from a pet store you’d still have to pay additional monies to have your pet fully vetted. The care they give these animals in their rescue is exceptional. Applicants are screened and pre-approved to help make sure the placement is a good fit for both the potential new owner and the pet. I would not hesitate purchasing a new pet from them. Check out their available pets! Your new family member is waiting for you!"
"We rescued our lovely Lottie here. The rescue estimated she was a 6 month old Australian Shepherd Mix when we got her in September of 2019, now she’s a 4.5 years old and a happy, healthy, adventure loving girl and beloved member of our family. We will be forever grateful to CCAWL for helping us to find her. We saw Lottie’s listing online, reached out about meeting her, and filled out the application online. Upon arrival I was allowed to go into a room to meet and play with Lottie, I knew right away I loved her. The rescue staff were friendly and easy to work with in the adoption process."
