"Edited comment: I just checked out the other reviews, just to see why people do the most vile things they do, I’ve been going to Brennan’s for 15 plus years. NEVER ONCE have I had bad service. NEVER ONCE have I ever seen a gun on the owner! Or anyone for that matter. Never once have I been towed! WOW. Just wow. I can’t tell you how low people go to ruin the lives of someone they don’t like. Disgusting behavior like that will not go unnoticed, and it certainly won’t be tolerated on my watch. Original review: love Brennan’s! I was just there for Fat Tuesday. Got a few lbs of crab legs (2.5lbs to be exact) let me tell you, I cannot wait until tomorrow. I’m so going back for more. The crab legs were AMAZING! Absolutely perfect! Was sat real fast, and service was excellent! Owner asked how things were, and I politely let him know how pleased I was with his crab legs! Compliments to the chef! Whomever steamed my crab legs did so PERFECTLY! Sad you’re closed today, but I completely get it! I’ve been there loads of time for Perch dinners. Never once have I had a bad experience!!!! Great kids menu as well!!! See you tomorrow night for dinner!!!"

"Hidden gem. Service, atmosphere and service absolute top notch. Try the lake perch plate, probably the best fresh water fish I got from the restaurant. They have full and half portions. This one is half!"

"Took my wife's long-time friend out for her birthday. We all had an amazing time. The food was wonderful and perfectly cooked and hardly a wait. The service was top-notch and the manager even came to check on us as well. Steak, crab, stuffed shrimp, baked potatoes and more, all quality and cooked perfectly. We will return. Thank you!"

"Absolutely the best fish on the planet.. yes, the planet. I have eaten fish from here to Australia, Brennans is superb. Don't waste you time with Pickel Bills next door, they only wish they could be Brennans. The atmosphere is fun, the service is skilled."

"Best place to eat in Fairport Harbor. Please take the walk across the street from the other restaurant to give this place a chance. Service was amazing and personable from the waitress to the hostess. Food was served hot and fresh. My husband makes fun of the fact that I order chop steak, but it is the best. If you like chopped steak, you will not be disappointed! The crab legs were cooked perfectly hot but not soggy or watery and salty. Fries are comparable to fair fries. Save room for dessert as the coconut cream pie is heavenly."
