"This is a delicious and quiet getaway from the casino. It has a great atmosphere that smells of the yakitori being prepared. I'm a big fan of the A5 Wagyu Nigiri, it's definitely worth a try! Yakitori has a wonderful flavor and char that will have you ordering more. Our server was super kind! The snow crab salad roll was great too! I would recommend calling ahead and making a reservation."
"The quality of the food was great. We got a couple of cocktails, miso soups, wagyu nigiri, spicy tuna roll which was delicious and another roll can’t remember the name. There seemed to be a lot of employees working but the restaurant itself wasn’t busy at all. Atmosphere was lacking something but can’t put my finger on it as to what. Would be back for the spicy tuna roll for sure and the drinks."
"This small restaurant isn't as small as it looks from the outside. There were many options. I'm not a person who loves raw sushi, so I went with the Yakitori. Select bacon-wapped anything, and you won't go wrong. I really liked the chicken meatballs. The service was outstanding. It ran us $79 before the tip for a few really small plates, but one was two small pieces of waygu so that price is a given. If you like to experiment with different rolls and flavors, this is your place."
"You can taste the quality of salmon and tuna. Yakitori skewers are really small but good. Chalkboard menu only as it often changes. Nothing on tap but they have your typical Japanese bottled beer."
"I recently visited Shobu by Kengo and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Despite the small size, the atmosphere felt intimate and bustling, without feeling too crowded. We sat at the bar and received excellent service from our bartender, who provided great recommendations that did not disappoint. The portion sizes and pricing were fair, and we did not feel rushed despite the restaurant being busy with a waitlist. The only thing I would change is the absence of regular tuna maki on the menu, as the regular tuna nigiri was incredible and would make an excellent roll. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning in the future."
