"We ordered the smashburger, a quesadilla with chicken, and chicken strips basket with tots. So be fore warned if you don't notice it on the menu. If they ask if you would like other than fries, they're going to charge $1.50 extra. They don't tell you that or at least our waitress did not. I had the burger. It was a double burger fresh meat pattys not frozen. It was not very flavorful but it was good. Added salt and made it a lot better. Fries are fresh cut and came out pretty tasty, however, they are heavily salted so if you don't like that, make sure you let them know. Quesadilla was very basic shredded cheese, melted with some pieces of chicken and then tossed on the grill to crisp it up. For $10.00 I don't think it was worth it. The wife got the chicken strips and the tater tots. The chicken strips had fresh chicken strip meat. However, the breading had a weird burnt taste to it. They weren't horrible but they weren't the best we ever had and it was a nice try on their part. Using the fresh chicken breast helped. The tots came out cold. As I said before she was charged an extra $1.50 for those. Overall it was a very average experience. The restaurant had a lot of guests and it took a long time for the food to come out for what we ordered. There was a steady flow of people so I don't think this was a bad restaurant with this many people coming to patronize them. Our experience is just average. Hope this helps."
"The VI just brought back Egg Wars on Thursday mornings and glad they did! Great staff, the chef makes REAL potatoes with the breakfast and the food was excellent! Do yourself a favor and support the welcomed addition to their menu."
"There are days I literally have to pause and stop and think about what the hospitality industry was before covid-19. Hospitality means you provide welcome. I don't want to make this political but we cannot deny that people were given the incentive to stay home where they can make more money on unemployment rather than working and we are now living in a day and age with the side effects of that unfortunate circumstance. There are way too many people who do not want to work. It's more than sad. It robs people of having a sense of purpose and contribution which will then in turn effect their self-esteem. With this being said I congratulate the management of this fine establishment as I finally am experiencing hospitality that is exceedingly wonderful. As I told Michael one of the managers on the staff my perception is these people work with a sense of joy and pride as opposed to simply punching in on a clock for an endurance test until you are permitted to go home. Well done. And about those fries...the heavenly chefs have looked down upon them. Excellent!"
"I keep trying to give this place a chance. But in the last 2-1 1/2 years the service has gotten worse and worse. Also the staff seems to have gotten younger and younger. This evening we went the last time I think we will be going. We were there over 2 hours and saw our waitress 2x. That being said. I saw her hanging out just not coming to my table or delivering the drink or food I ordered. My drink sat there for at least 5 mins after I watch the bartender make it. When we got our food, 35+ mins later…I told the younger staff delivering our food, we didn’t get the drink, she decided that was a good time to bring it. Spilling it as she walked and stopping at a table to chat which already had another worker hanging out at. Our order was messed up with just adding cheese to the kids burger. When I let the girl know it wasn’t correct she walked away and another girl took over for her. I understand that she apologized but again with the place being fairly empty, I watch as she had to go around and apologize for all the tables that server had. If the prices weren’t so high, I think I wouldn’t be so frustrated. We paid full price and waited for the check, waited for the card to be picked up, and waited to just get out of there. Kudos to the kiddo working hostess, cleaning tables, and greeting people. Kudos to the kids delivering food. Wait staff-No thank you. If you want to sit at the bar for a drink or maybe food, this might be the right place. If you have kids, a group, or are sat in the side facing the road…. Good luck."
"Great place with great food. The staff is the best. My girlfriend and I come any night that we’re feeling to lazy to cook which sometimes can be most nights. Most weeknights have great deals on food or drinks!"
