"This place does have excellent food and for a change, our service was outstanding last Sunday. Service is their biggest opportunity so we were very grateful to have a waitress who did her best even if it was her 3rd day"

"Just left the restaurant with 3 adults and 3 kids. Spent 90 mins here and 15 of it was spent eating. The rest of the time was spent waiting....I had to ask for everything....napkins, silverware, refills, etc. 3/4 of our food came out and we had to wait another 10-15 mins for an order of wings and mac and cheese. No apologies or discount offered. It was not very busy at 6:30 on a Tuesday night. Never again."

"My husband got a 20 piece boneless wing and I got the char grilled chicken sandwich. We were both impressed with how perfect the food was. His wings were meaty vs fatty and my sandwich was grilled perfectly with a toasted bun and my chosen toppings. This sandwich doesn't come with a side but is amazing on its own. It's a must for anyone looking for a better option when going for bar food. The waitress was nice and since we went during lunch hours, it was bare and more quiet than it's nightlife."

"Visiting a friend here in Van Wert, Ohio & stopped at this Frickers to grab some supper. Was not impressed. As people I know saying "oh try this place, best chicken around" Ummm no. Yeah it was nice n hot n fresh but absolutely no flavor in the breading. They do not make there wings 'wet' as to what the waitress said. They do not have buffalo seasoning sauce. When I think of 'wet' chicken wings I think of mild buffalo sauce on them. So I tried a lil cup of their bourbon BBQ sauce, it was just ok. The one thing I really liked was the beer cheese with the pretzel bites. (Definitely try those) Our waitress was ditzy & kept forgetting things. Maybe she was having a bad day, still tipped her well. ;) Could be a great place to go & grab some alcoholic drinks & watch a sports game for people but I do not drink nor do I watch sports. This place reminds me of a Buffalo Wild Wing (BWW) restaurant. The game room had 8 games to play. Which to me wasn't interesting enough to play but when I was leaving I seen this Chucky Chevy sitting out in the parking lot & this totally made my experience at Frickers so much better lol :D"

"Great to have this regional restaurant open once again with all the COVID issues going on. The chicken wings are just as delicious as I remember them! Staff is super-friendly, as always, and just happy to have customers back! Of course, things are different now, but everyone is taking it in stride. The atmosphere is still fun and upbeat. Great to be back!"
