"Bought transmission for Subaru Forester. It was delivered to the repair shop to replace the non-functioning transmission in the Subaru. First transmission sent over was not for my Subaru. Had to pay mechanic for the time to tell me it was not going to fit. JDM had to send over a second transmission. This was the correct transmission. Certified mechanic installed the transmission. It doesn't work properly and sent up codes. Codes were read by both the repair shop, and also by Subaru, where the car was towed by the repair shop to confirm the issues with the transmission. Contacted JDM. Was refunded the price of the transmission. I am still out thousands of dollars for the mechanic's work, and Subaru's charges, to put in and diagnose this faulty transmission. My vehicle still doesn't have a reliably working transmission. I contacted Sam, then was given over to Miko, and then to the owner, Amir. I was requesting some compensation for the thousands of $$$ I just paid to have this faulty transmission put into my vehicle. I sent over all documention to prove the second transmission was faulty, and initially requested $800; Amir declined this. Amir was not willing to offer any sort of compensation; Amir said JDM doesn't do that because they can't afford to. Amir will not stand by his transmission. There is supposed to be a warranty on the transmissions from JDM Florida. What does the warranty cover? Definitely not the cost to find out that the transmission is faulty! JDM Florida is not to be trusted. Amir does not stand by the products that his company offers, and is unwilling to work with the purchaser of the transmission when it is faulty. EDIT to reply to JDM - Per the review, I still have a faulty transmission (car won't shift correctly!!!), and you don't stand by your transmission, and you won't work with the customer to offer a Goodwill Refund of some part of the thousands of dollars customer paid to repair shop to put in a transmission that was faulty. Not only did you deliver the wrong transmission initially (lack of quality control on your part - does not foster confidence in your company) but you also delivered a faulty transmission, and I had to pay a mechanic for the time spent on those 2 transmissions. This negative review would have been written very differently if you had tried to make this right by us and not blown us off."
