Reviews of Publix Pharmacy at Crossings at Wildlight
"I switched to publix because of all the problems I had at my old pharmacy and I've been very pleased with publix pharmacy"
"By far this is the worst pharmacy of all not just from Publix. 100% of the time that I go to pick up my "ready to be picked up" medication it somehow still takes them just 45 minutes to process it. Then another time it was "ready for pick up" I was told my medication was on another truck and I shouldn't have gotten that text, like it was my fault that the Publix Pharmacy texted me saying it was ready. The first day I got my medication the pharmacist told me I had to wait 24 hours in order to pick it up since it was new to me. I asked her how that made any sense and she just got mad at me and walked away. Finally another lady "helped" me by letting me know I needed to come back in 45 minutes. By far the worst pharmacy in town!!! Already looking for a new place even though Publix is the closest to my house. This is very disappointing especially for Publix where they are known for great customer service and being polite. I guess this pharmacist just didn't get the memo, must have been on another truck."
"My son called the pharmacy to see if his medicine was ready and he was told no, nothing had been called in for him. He called his doctor to check and they told him they did call it in but would do it again. My son calls publix pharmacy again to see if his prescription was ready and he was told it wasn't called in. So today 10/31/2023 he went to his doctors office and picked up the prescription himself and took it to Publix pharmacy and the girl that usually fills it was interrupted by a VERY RUDE pharmacist REFUSING to fill my son's prescription. She told my son "You have been told to get your Florida Drivers License" he replied no i have not been. The other lady tried to tell her but was cut off....that she knows him and he lives at home with his mom while going She talked over him and proceeded to tell him NO...we are not filling it. so i looked up state laws and it states you need a valid ID...thats all It says nothing about being out of state. This prescription was from his doctor I don't know who you think you are to refuse someone's medication like that out of pure hatred. You obviously lied about never receiving it. For some reason you just didn't want to fill it. And to speak to someone like that for no reason you are playing with people's lives. People need there medication to function my son had been without his medicine for 3 days. You need to loose your license. Publix you need to do better!!!"
"The pharmacist on staff as of 10.31.23 at 12:45 PM is both unprofessional and highly dishonest to patients. Just like Ashley said in her review, I was also LIED to by their staff that they were not getting my prescription in. I have been out of my ADHD medication for 3 days. I just spent the last 2 days calling my doctor to resend the prescription. I even went to get a paper prescription this morning. Turns out this was all a waste of my valuable time. They lied to me that they weren’t getting it. They just didn’t want to refill it. The pharmacist said she couldn’t fill it due to my license being out of state and even though I’m a student temporarily living with my parents and have been going here for months now. She lied to my face that we spoke and tried gaslighting me that I should’ve gotten a Florida ID by now. My personal life is not any of her business. I have never spoken to or seen this woman before. They never give me an issue because they know I’m a student. I was treated like a druggy just because I want to be able to function. I’m in school full time and starting a new job tomorrow. I can’t balance this all without being able to function normally. I am not a drug abuser. I have taken this medication for 3 years and never abuse it. I don’t know what kind of personal issues this woman has but she seems to get off on causing problems in other peoples lives with her ignorant judgments. She should not be in any position of power. I will be doing everything I can to deter anyone from ever going to this pharmacy."
"I love Publix, but please don't lie to your patients. I called to find out when I can refill my son's ADHD medication. I was told by the technician that his doctor never sent over his prescription for refill and I had to call his doctor. I physically went to the location later that day and was told by a different technician that they did have the prescriptions but could not fill them until the next day. Well the next day I call to find out when this can be filled and was told I now have to wait another 3 days (my child will be completely out of medication before this) because of store policy. I was a pharmacy technician for 15 years so I know they usually will not fill earlier than 30 days from the date it was filled. Some pharmacies will do 28. This was filled 12/1 for 30 tablets and I was told I have to wait until 01/02. That's 33 days. This medication helps control his violent outbursts. Its not like my 7 year old is getting high. If this was my medication I would not mind but you are messing with my child at this point and I am seriously considering switching to a different pharmacy."
