Walgreens Pharmacy

"Countless times I have been hung up on while trying to inquire about my prescription. Multiple different people have been extremely rude to me for no reason at all. My wife and I will be switching to a new pharmacy."

"I was given someone else’s rx when I filled my refill ( I think it was just mislabeled but did not want to take a chance) upon opening the paper bag when I got home @ 830pm. I called the pharmacy and spoke to Cinerella (sp?) and she asked to bring back the bottle and will get my med refill ready. I told her I’ll bring it the next day as it was already 900 pm. I called the next day on the way just to confirm my med refill is ready to avoid waiting longer and this pharmacist, Phien, was so rude saying “you need to return the other medication before you can get any medicine”. I told him that I spoke to Cinerella the night before and assured me that my medication would be ready for pick up. He just repeated what he said over and over so I just hanged up and continued to drive. I get there with a long line and waited patiently. I got my correct medication and returned the wrong medication and I told the nice gentleman that helped me to let his pharmacist, Phien, know that “all I needed was to get the correct medication and he did not need to be rude to paying customers. Not only did I miss last night’s dose, I had to drive back and wait again to get my medication. No apologies and felt as if I’m the one in the wrong getting the correct medication. My husband who was also there an hour ago stated that the same pharmacist, Phien, rudely told the staff “ it’s an hour wait” when the staff was checking on flu shot admin. He again did not have to be rude about it and could have calmly said it’s going to be a long wait since it’s busy. Why offer walk in flu shots as a service if you’re pharmacist is unhappy about it and not want to accommodate. My husband simply inquired about the walk-in and appointment process. I hope this pharmacist is just a temporary worker in this location as I have not seen him before and will not go back if pharmacist is rude and unapproachable. Everyone else I have encountered in the past has been nice and courteous."

"Is it just me or is this literally the SLOWEST pharmacy drive thru in Jacksonville. No matter what time of day I try to show up to get a prescription it’s always at least seven cars deep and they NEVER move and typically I have to leave for another obligation before two cars even move out of this line. What a nightmare! There has to be something that can be done to improve this Walgreens drive-thru. Not to mention when they’re out of stock of your prescription they just forget to ever notify you ever again. Disappointing."
