"Love this Publix and the pharmacy. Very convenient and I’m in and out quickly. I’ve never had an issue getting an RX that I need. I also appreciate the text message when my RX is ready for pickup."
"I prefer this pharmacy to all others in the downtown area. The Pharmacist and techs are always friendly and helpful."
"I've always had excellent and friendly service at this Publix, both checkout, service desk and pharmacy. Parking can be difficult at rush hours and as with all Publix stores, prices are high. It's very convenient for downtown dwellers."
"Refused to fill my prescription because my doctor is not from tampa. Used to like this pharmacy, only useful for urgent care visits."
"The pharmacist knowing Publix can only do 1 RX pull and switch before getting the Dr. Back involved, pulled my RX just to tell me he won't fill it therefore capping me from being able to fill my RX until Monday and it's Friday. No other pharmacist I called at any other location pulled my RX to check their inventory if they had enough to fill. He pulled it telling me I have enough medicine to last me as if he knows how much I have from an early full back in June, it's now mid October. He doesn't know anything about what I have or don't. For him to be bold to make that accusation is already enough! It made no sense for him to pull my RX capping the one time switch on a Friday night! Every other single pharmacist answered whether or not they had it in stock without pulling my RX. You can't play with people's lives like this! Tired of the pharmacist playing Dr anyways. Dr prescribes, they fill, that's it. Too much judgement and way too much power given to the pharmacist when they aren't making ethical decisions! Publix can't employ hot heads like that, it doesn't fit their brand. When I called and asked why he did it, he realized he made a mistake but instead of apologizing and admitting it, he just said have my Dr send it back out and hung up. The 1st time we disconnected, he told me to call around other Publix's to see if they have in stock and can fill, so again, he didn't calculate that I wouldn't be able to anymore due to him pulling my RX. I never gave him permission to pull it, when I only have 1 chance at a Publix switch why would I have anyone pull it if they weren't filling it for me?!?!? SMH I want an apology from the GM of the Channel side Publix store."
