"My wife called due to referral by her doctor. The doctor gave us his number and said she sent him a prescription. While we were on the phone with him, he was very rude and acted as if we were stupid for bothering him. I tried just asking the employee what his name was to simply let the doctor know who we spoke with, and he refused to even give a name and had a horrible attitude. He just said he was the pharmacist and then hung up. It was very odd because we were kind and respectful the entire time. There was no reason for this arrogant behavior. Thankfully, he is not our pharmacist and I would never do business with them. I would not trust them with medicine for a dog, nevertheless people. The unprofessional behavior was astounding. My advice to anyone would be to stay away from this atrocious pharmacist!"
"Al has been my Pharmacist for many years. He has always been very attentive, helpful and at the same time so knowledgeable about all the aspects of the medications you are taking! In regards to a previous review...Pharmacists are Doctors! Acording to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, in order to take such exam and pass, you must have a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree ( Pharm. D)."
"I read the last review of terrible customer service over the phone and that was 100% true. I called the day prior to let them know my address changed and to let me know the cost of the medicine. They said they would call me back the next morning. By the following afternoon, I received no call so I called them back. They told me that the medicine was $75. I then said that I didn’t want it because that was expensive and the manager sighed and started giving me attitude and being rude since it was ALREADY at my house that I didn’t live in anymore since I moved. I told him that I was supposed to get a call back in the morning to confirm my address and the price before being shipped and it was shipped anyways AND to the wrong address. I was upset because I needed the medication, hence the prescription, and the manager was being more and more rude. I asked him for his name or his employee number if he didn’t want to give out his name to which he said that he’s not filling my prescription and to go some place else. He then hung up the phone. They lost a customer due to this rude and utterly disgusting behavior and no client should ever be treated the way this man treated me. If I were you, don’t use this pharmacy."
"Was treated with poor customer service over the phone, when I was trying to remedy a concern I had about a cost of a medication I have been trying to get access to for weeks. My concerns were dismissed in a rude and unfriendly way. Instead, they were taken personally by the manager I spoke with, who condescendingly explained the issue with my copay was "bad insurance". This manager did not take the time to listen to my actual issue, which was confusion as to why my copay was increasing, when I had fought for weeks to have it covered at a certain price. He never resolved my issue, or took any sort of responsibility or care to helping me fix my issue. I contacted my insurance personally and will be filling my prescription at another pharmacy - I suggest you do the same."
"I was shopping for a new pharmacy due to the fact that not all my prescriptions are covered by my new insurance plan. A friend highly recommended this pharmacy and I called and asked if I could get the price of 4 scripts that are no longer covered by my insurance. I called on a Thursday and gave the owner - "pharmacist" the meds I needed quotes on. I gave him a call that following Monday since I hadn't heard back from him. He questioned me on one of my medications and why I was on such a high dose of it. I told him this medication has been prescribed to me for years by my doctor who happens to be highly respected in the medical community here in Tampa. After giving this some thought I decided he deserves a poor review, as he isn't a doctor and was very condescending in his tone to me over the phone. I talked to my Doctor about it and he offered to call him. I expressed there is no need to call and argue with a pharmacist who thinks he is a doctor. Please don't put yourself through dealing with this pharmacy and the attitude of the owner. You can get much better prices at "La Ideal pharmacy" on Columbus Dr. and "The Drug Shoppe" on north Armenia Ave here in town. Also, he is the only one that works at the pharmacy so you will get a voicemail every time you call and will have to wait for his slow response. Having not even one employee tells me a lot about his pharmacy. He also is very hard to understand as he is foreign and has a thick accent."
