"Definition of a HERO he·ro/ˈhirō/ noun 1. a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities. A true hero at Southcare Pharmacy went above and beyond for dogs in need! There are dog owners that live in depressed areas of Florida. These people love their dogs, but purchasing costly heartworm prevention is a challenge. Dogs must, must be provided heartworm prevention. 3 out of every 5 dogs our rescue organization rescues from that area are heartworm positive! Heartworm disease can be avoided, with simple monthly prevention. Our organization committed to sending compounded heartworm prevention to be distributed by the local animal control to dog owners in need at no charge. However! We needed help in mathematically calculating a mixture so that anyone can dose their dog safely, no matter the weight of the dog. This ordeal is time consuming and thought intensive. MARK at SOUTHCARE came through for us! He took his time, his intelligence and it came from his heart! Mark, because of you countless dogs will not suffer heartworm disease. MARK: The true definition of HERO! THANK YOU, MARK! THANK YOU, SOUTHCARE!!"

"This has been our pharmacy for years. It reminds me of the pharmacies from my childhood. The staff knows you by name, they have time to answer all of your questions. Best of all if you need anything they don't make you feel like you are bothering them. I would never change pharmacies. Mark and Carlie ( the 2 pharmacists) are the best. Entire staff is friendly and professional. They are " family" and so are you."
