Reviews of St. Petersburg Pharmacy
"Called on a Monday and technician said we need to call ahead so that they can follow up on calling for refills. I've worked for many pharmacies in the past, most have been mail order and they make sure to call for refills no later than a week in advance, I know because I've done many myself. Tuesday called for an update as we are down to our last day on a control med. Was assured it'll be on the delivery tonight, we'll it's almost noon time Wednesday, had to call again as we are out of a particular medication not just 1 but 2 ppl now and they can't say when it's going to go out. Not really a professional pharmacy if you ask me."
"I gave this small town pharmacy a chance when I first moved here. From the get-go, I should have been concerned. When I first selected this pharmacy, it was because I called around checking before my prescription was sent that Saint Petersburg Pharmacy actually carried my specific medication. They said they did when I gave them the dosage and type. Well, I went there the day it was supposed to be ready, and sure enough, it wasn’t in stock, forcing me to wait TWO more days to pick it up….plus they said they’d have it next day when it wasn’t available, and it took two. No call either time letting me know it wasn’t going to be ready. So, strike one, now we are back a month later for the same exact prescription, same problem again, not in stock, had to wait, another day, getting more frustrated at this point. This went on three more times and finally strike three happened when “Keith” basically told me and my partner that our business wasn’t wanted or desired and clearly he can’t not own up to the fact that HIS employees overcharged me for my prescription, didn’t run my insurance or even submit a claim for my prescription, then when I ask for a refund, Keith tells us to go to h*ll basically. Not professional, in the least bit, and I will spread the word to everyone I know in Pinellas County to save themselves the hassle and go elsewhere. 1 star is too generous."
"My husband had gone here for a prescription refill & they failed to run his insurance info through the system, resulting in him paying cash. When we contacted them back, we were informed by one of the pharmacist, Keith that since the prescription was already paid for/ taken out of the store, there was nothing further they could do, although it was their mistake to begin with. Keith literally compared a pharmaceutical transaction to that of purchasing a pizza; stating that “once a pizza is purchased & taken out of the restaurant, you don’t bring it back, in exchange for your money.” When I informed Keith that we would be taking our service elsewhere he responded with “good, you do that.” As an individual who works in the healthcare industry, I would not recommend this place whatsoever."
"Wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this pharmacy. Unprofessional, aggressive, disrespectful, snobby individuals. The techs aren't bad but one of the pharmacists and the owners are down right cruel and argumentative. It is not worth it. They may hide behind a mask in the beginning but they quickly turn on you and don't take any responsibility for the wrongs they have done. May God show them a better path. I will be praying for them to learn some humility, honesty, and empathy."
