"It has been a good bit of years now, but based on my experience in 2008/2009 I don't recommend this shop whatsoever. Visited the shop and spoke to the owner about getting my V6 engine block bored and the rotating assembly put together. Was quoted a price and 2 weeks lead time. I dropped off the block and new custom pistons a couple weeks later, and then weeks and weeks go by of trying to get a hold of him to see when my engine would be done. Left voicemails each time, over the course of several months. He never returned my calls, and after catching him just one time he promised my engine would be done soon. Several more weeks went by before I tried calling again, and had to call from a different phone number before he would answer. It was clear that he was dodging my calls specifically. He was very upset that I was calling again (this was the third time I was able to get a hold of him in the course of 5 months) and more empty promises on this call. It was 7 months after I dropped the engine off that he finally called out of the blue, in an upset tone, to tell the engine was ready. I got there to pick it up, expecting if anything he was going to be giving me a discount for the absurd wait. Instead, he now was charging me more than double what he originally quoted me... and we know machine work isn't cheap in the first place so I was now upset and asked him what the reasoning was for trying to stiff me like that. He told me either pay it, or he was holding onto the engine. I'm going to assume that not much has changed, therefore consider this review when considering to take your business here."
