"I am a seventy-nine-year young lady who grew up in a suburb of Boston. We had a family owned drug center that treated you like family. You were not a number – you were a real person! Seven years ago, I went into the Dunnellon Pharmacy and found my new family drug center!! They were so pleasant and were there to help me with my diabetic supplies, my thyroid medications and antibiotics when I needed them. When I went back the next time and each time I do go there, they always welcome me by my name and ask how they can help me today. Like with my childhood/adult family drug center near Boston, Tapan and his staff at the Dunnellon Pharmacy always makes you feel like family and helps you as much as is possible to take care of your medical needs. "I was switching from Walgreens to this pharmacy but was told by pharmacist and staff that I cannot get Xanax or Ambien there without proof of insurance. This is only 2 of 6 prescriptions I get filled. After much research of FL non opioid controlled substance law, well….there is none. I feel I am persecuted because I self pay with an HMA account. Or is it because I’m a white middle aged female. What is going on????"
