Amscot - The Money Superstore

"Don't waste your time to purchase a money order. They requested my I.D. and handed me an application requesting my name, date of birth, address, Social Security Number and etc. I said no thank you. I'm not asking to cash a check or requesting a loan, therefore this company is over stepping their boundaries to gain your personal information. Amscott please be careful requesting people personal information that hackers and your employees can gain access and create fraud in the customer's name. This policy is questionable and the process is shady. Edit to my post after Amscot commented. " You can go to the United States Postal Service and request a money order. The postal worker does not hand you a form requesting your personal information ( name, address, DOB, social security number and etc. Your policy at Amscot is not the law. This company is enforcing a policy that can open them up for potential lawsuits."

"Unfortunately this place is one of the slowest amscots I’ve been to. I use to work at amscot branch 218, and we all worked as a team and serviced clients at a timely manner. This place is just slow and they don’t care about the clients."

"Out of all the Amscots in Miami,this has GOTS to be the WORST!!!! Customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!! Attitudes throughout staff,they'll roll their eyes at you,treat you as if you need them personally!!!They act like it's their own personal money they are loaning you,they need to understand they are working for a Company!!Amscots needs to clear that whole entire staff from every shift,and get some respectable staff members.."

"Jus coming from there,I wanted to buy a money card the teller was taking long so I ask her to give me my my stuff, she throw my iD on the counter if the glass wasn't there it would be on the floor. Not going back there and I am going to tell my friends not to go anymore. That Spanish gal got to go."

"Horrible service in the store around five I clock. The staff in unprofessional you can hear them speak and talk about other customers. Laughing and talking about you while you’re standing there dealing with another employee. If it’s management sitting behind the desk just laughing at everything she’s no better . Amscot needs to do better and clean house. One star was given because the choice of one star wasn’t available"
