"Should be able to talk to a real person just 6 miles from me..but CANT...I dont want to talk to national call center !! Very frustrating."
"Phone system is atrocious. So difficult (Hell, impossible) to speak with someone on a local level and often double digit wait times on a national level - can't imagine needing help in a 'crisis type' market situation."
"The telephone maze to get in touch with the 5th Avenue branch of the Naples office is truly amazing. Very unprofessional."
"I have been with td waterhouse for 25 years or so now tdameritrade the last few months I cant get on the website and not my computer. today alone I have tried 9 times I calls 4 times the voice mail said we are very busy hang in there some one will get to you. Its not what I'm paying for if I wonted to make a trade I couldn't. not happy I thing its time to change."
"I have been an account holder for over 15 yrs., as soon as paperwork is completed this account will be closed. They have completely messed up my RMD on my IRA. At least 3 errors were made and my adviser Tim Mangus has been ducking my phone calls. He specifically asked me to fax him a form to authorize my RMD by transfer mutual funds from my IRA account to my non IRA account and withhold 20%. The withholding was to be done from the initial withdrawal. Instead TD withheld 25% and took additional shares out of the IRA to cover the taxes, not what I wanted and not what most people do. We want to keep as much money in the IRA as possible and pay taxes from other monies. This morning I spoke to Tim Krueger a supervisor in the research desk and when he was not able to resolve my problem, he informed me that, he was the highest level individual I could speak to. What a joke and insult to anyone"s intelligence. He basically told me to file a complaint with FINRA, which I will do. To people who are thinking of opening an account or already have an account, BE AWARE this is not a company you should trust to handle your money. Nick Ferencz"
