"These reviews that are one star have to be the result of a name mixup. They are nothing like the Agency I just spoke with. Erin gave me assurances and help with a rather large medical debt that I cannot work on right now. I am a senior on SSDI and a small Long Term Disability stipend. She was compassionate and gave me no issues as I explained my situation. I was stunned to say the least. Thank you so much Erin and Preferred CMS. I am retired due my condition and I feel so much better after talking with you."
"I received a call from them, not knowing what this was about, I called back. The lady became aggressive as I was trying to explain my situation to her and kept asking her to email details as I needed to do research and submit this information to my company. My company being very large they do not do things the same way most companies work. It’s a little strange and difficult for someone who’s never experienced a company like this. She was not helpful kept telling me she couldn’t email me anything tried saying SHES doing the leg work (which is not the case full of BS) she wasn’t doing anything! All she had to do was email the bill or anything so I could submit it to my company. She just kept telling me the law and my company doesn’t abide by the laws lol your funny chick! All I want to do is take care of the bill. She said she would call me back and leave a vm with all the details because I didn’t have a pen, nope she didn’t do that either. Really?? I’m calling you, returning your call, to clear up a bill, not to argue unnecessarily (she said well obviously you know what it’s about since you called me back, no I had many things done last yr and this was all the way back in June, why are we dealing with this in feb of 2022 and not on June 9, 2021? Lady your not a detective and if you were I wouldn’t hire you)"
"I called and spoke to Colin and he was such a sweetheart. He didn't give me a hard time and was so polite and knowledgeable. My bill was $250 from a copay payment that I was too lazy to pay when it was due. He didn't hassle me when I told him I needed to pay that in 2 payments. He just said okay and took my debit card info. I then called back to give him a compliment for being so sweet and the lady who took my call was super sweet also. I am a debt collector as well so I know how tough this business is so it was important to me to tell them how nice Colin was. I'm not sure of the ladies name who took my second call but she said she sits right next to him. I would also like to thank her for her kindness. Thank you for your service Preferred CMS. I hope my other accounts go to your office also. We always hear the bad side of OCAs. It's nice to praise them when they are kind."
"Very unprofessional. Received a call from my mother that they had contacted her in regard to a small unpaid bill medical from 9 years ago. First off you should not contact anyone but myself about my personal debt. And you should not harass my mother. When I called they had my phone number associated with a different persons account. Then they claimed I did not pay a bill from 9 years ago. When I told them that I had settled that at least 5 years ago I was told they would look into it and call me back. I never received a call back and am now getting intimidating letters claiming I have failed to respond and further action will be taken if I do not pay in full. What kind of scumbag operation is this? If you would like this post taken down give me a call and tell me why I am being charged twice."
