"I opened an account here some years ago because it was convenient to me at the moment. I worked right next door. In the end... they are the ones I've had the most financial services from. Personal loans, Credit Card. When I refinance my home I will try them. It's a really good bank. Simple solutions. Straightforward. Their website is so straightforward that you wonder why aren't all others like that. The phone lines for services -outside of the branch- are quite difficult, they have improved -a bit- over the years. That is very true. But calling the branch itself? zero issues."

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Worst experience ever. James Green is a “yes-man” kinda guy and made it seem as if I’d have no issues with a physician loan. Horrible and delayed communication, easy pre-approval & then burned as you get closer to closing. Got denied on my loan 2 weeks before closing, making over 2/3 the value of the home and having around 1/2 the value in assets. Do yourself a favor and learn about creative finance and seller finance. These financial institutions are only there for their own benefit and give 0 F’s about us. Don’t do business with this bank."

"If you are using this branch I would advise to avoid the mortgage brokers. Very unprofessional and use predatory lending practices. One tried to lure me with one product and at the last minute, when we were close to closing, tried to force me into an inferior mortgage believing I had no recourse. Fortunately I had a backup and avoid being conned. If Fifth Third Bank allows such unscrupulous behavior I would advise everyone reading this to bank elsewhere."

"The most rude customer service I have EVER received!!! I was attempting to make a large deposit to the company I work for account. They insisted they needed my personal ID and social security number to make the deposit. As usual in life, it’s never what you say but how you say it. I said ‘did you look at the account and see that it’s a very large business account’ and the teller responded ‘ I don’t have to look at anything, it doesn’t matter what kind of account, I need your info for this deposit’. When I thought maybe a manager will be better able to effectively communicate the rules and my options, I asked for one. Well Lisa Keller who came on the monitor next was even more rude than the original teller. Her first words to me were ‘you have come in with the information requested’ no greeting how may I help nothing. She was already annoyed to have to speak with me without even hearing what I had to say. She was very short, didn’t try to offer me options (other than giving my personal info) then said she doesn’t have time for this I need to pull forward because they have customers to serve and turned off the monitor. I called back and she answered and said leave or else I’m calling the authorities. She was absolutely rude and condescending! I wouldn’t give this bank a penny of my money based on the service I received. There are many options out there that treat customers with respect and dignity. Fifth third isn’t it. POOR"
