"I visited the Suncoast Service Center at Ivy Oaks and as I entered the establishment I was not greeted by anyone! I proceeded to the Teller area for assistance. I was not greeted, but instead Tony gestures for me to his station. I work in a service industry and have worked with the public a very long time. I would never gesture for someone to come over instead I would greet them and ask them if I can help. I had to initiate the greeting and I immediately felt resistance that he didn’t want to help. I asked if everything was okay and he said “yes” why? I said well you didn’t greet me as I approached and you did not make me feel welcome as a member of this institution. Tony’s response was well the people in the front should have greeted you! I also do not believe it’s the full responsibility on one person to greet every member that enters your establishment. Tony proceeds to tell me to have a good day and he waived me off. I waited for the next teller to be available and was assisted with no issues.Tony is an awful example of what great member service is and I would never want to be assisted by him in any situation. He’s very unpleasant and comes off as rude. I hope my experience helps alleviate any bad experiences you may have with Tony."

"Olga Borbolla was so helpful. I went there asking for a car loan and she explained all the details I need to know about my bank account and financial information. I called her later and she kindly answered all my questions. My car was refinanced some months ago with Ruben, who was very informative as well. "I initially signed in and then I wanted to ask a question. As I approached Ada, she immediately stated if I need to make a deposit or withdrawal that's the line. I responded hello and I wanted to ask a question she responded I'm helping these people right now, and I responded yes and I was waiting patiently to ask a question without interrupting. I decided to take a chance and entered the teller line. I was serviced by Adina, who greeted me and while I was waiting to complete my transaction, I overheard Ada answering a question in Spanish in the presence of the couple she was still assisting. I found her to be not friendly nor provide the level of service to ALL SCU members. If you're assisting some and deny some else service then stay consistent with your choice."

"Juanita has gone far beyond her usual responsibilities to help me on two occasions. She does so eagerly and with a sincere desire to help me. Ruben O has also helped me with technology when using my bank’s app. Two wonderful employees who are knowledgeable and cheerfully helpful!"
