"I’ve moved many times in the last few years, but always did it myself. I decided to hire a moving Company for this 300 mile move from Philly to Pittsburgh. I hired Kelly Van Lines because they had the most reasonable price. This was a huge mistake. I regret it and do not recommend this company to anyone. I needed and wanted my things delivered on 1/30 and conveyed that to the “salesperson agent”. Not once did he say if you do not take delivery upon pickup, your things will be stored at a holding facility until they can coordinate a delivery to my area. This only was stated by their customer service after I got to my apartment with none of my things on the 30th. And to top it off, I was never told it would be delivered in a semi truck, not a box truck like what they used at my pick up. So now I’m told I need to pay $300 more because a semi truck would never be able to maneuver in my complex. They would have to drive semi, then rent a uhaul to bring my things. “Shuttle Service”-all in contract. No one ever mentioned this-I would have not signed with this company. Very evasive and not honest with what was to transpire. I paid way more than I wished to in the end. I Got my things 3 weeks later!!!!! Very DISAPPOINTED with this company. Customer service would not give me a solid date for my delivery until one day before. Customer service was rude and couldn’t care less about getting me my things. All the things they were not upfront about my move, was in the paperwork I signed while my things were being loaded into a truck. Customer service would say to all my objections—“it’s in your contract you signed and I know because I wrote the contract”. This has been the Most arduous situation I have ever experienced. I don’t even believe the semi truck was used for my move because they showed up with a box truck, but I paid the additional $300. I’m going to report to BBB. DO NOT USE THIS DISHONEST COMPANY!!!"

"It was truly a nightmare working with this company. They’ll tell you they are not a middle man but they are. Terrible communication with the moving company that they work with. They held my stuff for almost 3 weeks (one week it was just stuck in San Antonio. Put an AirTag in one of your boxes if you can). They won’t work with you when it comes to times (I’ve been fighting with them to deliver my stuff at a time that I’ll be home. I just started my new job this week and I can’t take time off. If I’m not here for the delivery, they’ll charge me again. They also keep calling/billing my sister who was the emergency contact in my paperwork). I was quoted at underneath $3K for the job and now this job will cost me close to $4K with all their hidden fees. I’m so freaking stressed. In general, do not go with a van line. I really hate this, this company and this overall experience."

"I moved from New York to Florida in December. The whole process went very smooth. The guys at Kelly Van Lines made everything so simple. My stuff came on time and they helped unpack and organize everything for me. The overall communication was great as well. I highly recommend them"

"Very dishonest upfront pricing. Final price and estimate off by 80%, this results in thousands of dollars more than one budgets which is extremely important when you’re in the process of moving and trying to plan your next step. Very friendly and attentive at first when trying to get your business but after it’s a complete a joke."

"Salesman statements not consistent with actual movers. Promises made not reality. Estimate even after walk through visual was way off, paid almost 50 percent more. Loaders left items behind even after multiple instructions. Took 10 days to get truck from OH to FL. Unloaders had no regard for our items. Many items broken, damaged and bad scratches on furniture. Saw them drop boxes. Employees were rude, confrontational and lazy. Had the gall to request a tip. Never will forget this horrible experience."
