"I am the REAL client who just got deported after being detained for 7 months! DO NOT hire Aguado Immigration Firm! Especially if you came on visa waiver Esta. It’s very obvious that they have zero experience. Nicolas and his paralegal Rose made several mistakes! They knew I came on visa waiver since beginning. But they still decided to set up bond hearing which costed me 5k. If you come on visa waiver you ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for bond. After all we asked Nicolas to give us refund at least for the bond hearing since he made a mistake but he said that my case is over and that was the end of conversation for him. We went through parole as well because the Judge recommended it. That was another 7k. Nicolas SHOULD know that detainees won’t get paroled if their “credible fear interview was denied” and mine was before we applied for parole. So another waste of money! There was zero conversation between me and “my lawyer”. We had two phone calls and I had to practically beg for both of them. During the first one, I told Nicolas’s paralegal that I visited United States in a past already. They didn’t put it into my forms so the Judge accused me from lying. When I explained the situation to the Judge, my lawyer stayed quiet! The entire time they were telling me that I have the option of “voluntary departure”. One week before my final hearing (after being locked up for 6 months), Nicolas showed up at the detention center and told me I should either go for voluntary departure or get sick so they will reschedule my hearing. I was in huge shock because the entire time they said we have pretty good chance. Later that day he gave a call to my fiancée and told him I am not eligible for voluntary departure. Another shock. A new lawyer showed up at the facility the next day. He said he works with Nicolas and he came to prepare me for the final hearing. The only good thing about this lawyer was that somebody explained me finally why I have to go through “asylum process”. If you come on Visa Waiver you are not allowed to see the Judge only through Asylum. Great info after 6 months. At the final hearing nobody was fighting for me. My lawyer, Mr Orlando, stayed quiet. He had the option to ask the Judge if he can release me because I am engaged to Us citizen but he didn’t say anything. The Judge said I will be deported and my lawyer said “thank you for having me, it was my first opportunity here with you”. Nicolas made so many mistakes. I don’t want to go through all the details. I am sure if I would have different lawyer who knows what he is doing and who would actually really work and communicate I could be able to stay in United States. We wasted a lot of money and a lot of time and energy. Nicolas will take your money and you will get deported. I don’t believe that all the reviews here are real! I am going through a lot now. This whole situation hurt me deeply and I have to go to the therapist now! If he knew what he was doing since beginning I could be either still in United States or back in my country long time ago and I didn’t have to go through this nightmare for 7 months when Nicolas was totally heartless and didn’t care what he is doing to his client. I have hard time to adjust now. My family is hurt deeply as well. DO NOT HIRE NICOLAS AGUADO! YOU WILL LOSE AND WHAT IS EVEN WORSE THAT YOU WILL GO THROUGH THE BIGGEST NIGHTMARE THAT WILL FEEL LIKE NEVER ENDING STORY!!!"

"In the general consensus of this review, where there will be others to come. I would highly recommend families to AVOID hiring Nicholas and his firm for immigration consulting and or retainment. Nicholas is very good at attending to your phone calls, but that’s really about it. He will make you and your client do all the work and find out legal information that his firm should provide, without properly looking over your case. If your family member has an ESTA or has come to the United States on a travel visa or tourist visa, I would recommend you to AVOID the Aguado Firm. Nicholas and his paralegal Rosemary Sosa are both very inexperienced in these matters. They will not contact your clients deportation officer promptly and gather client information themselves, via passport and other legal information if your family member has a criminal case as well. They will leave it up to your family member ;while In detainment, to do all of the work while Nicholas and Rose wait or attend to other cases. Nicholas will charge you extremely high prices for options that your client is unable to obtain, and then will try to say that his services are a “Courtesy” of his firms legal efforts once he has received your money. He knowingly will be awear or your family members legal options, write out a contract with false options that your client is Not eligible for and will threaten to quit your case once you have noticed this error in his judgment, after you have already payed him. The contract is nonrefundable so this tactic is essentially stealing from you and your family member once you have signed the contract and payed him. Nicholas and his team will wait until the last minute to I’ll inform your family member or loved one about his or her options to win the case and therefore not properly prepare your family member or client with the proper knowledge and consultation leading up to the case for the best outcome, win or lose. In my OPINION. This firm is just entirely built on doing the bare minimum to stall your case, pressure you into spending money on unavailable options, and not even follow up once the case is over. You literally feel like the firm has completely thrown your family member in the trash, and you will come out with nothing. He is not a lawyer who looks out for family’s with a proper legal knowledge to further attempt to win a case, no matter the challenges. He will not pay attention to your case, give you false hopes and options, collect your money, and then lose your case. This review is not defamation of character, but a clear documentation of Nichola’s and his teams very poor services while dealing with our case. P.S. if Nicholas tries to give you his private number. It is a complete trap. Do not take it and I urge families to not ever text his private line. He will use his client to lawyer confidentiality as a weapon, and will further more use what you are texting him, as a way to back out of agreements Or use what you have texted him against you to hurt your case. This is a warning to all families! Please read this before obtaining services with Nicholas Aguado. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE"
