"I never review places--whether positively or negatively--but this company is so terrible I felt compelled. As people have mentioned below, this is the worst customer experience I have EVER had. If I could give zero stars I would. They have canceled my delivery FOUR times. They came one time, but didn't bring all the parts so they could not fully assemble the bed that I ordered from west elm. I will NEVER order from west elm again if they are using this unbelievably incompetent company. Avoid at all costs. I should have received my bed in July, but instead it will likely be coming in October. DO NOT USE MXD DELIVERY GROUP."
"What a miserable experience. My shipment from Sam's Club is coming up on 2 weeks past the estimated delivery date...the best MXD Customer Service can do is tell you what state it's in, no idea when I'll get it. Expect to hold for a VERY long time to speak to someone. The online tracking function is worthless. It's simply said "in transit" for 10 days now."
"Doesn't even deserve 1 star! I ordered a piece of furniture through Sams Club 10 days ago. My Shipment had a reasonable estimated delivery date, called on the last day of the estimated delivery time. MXD Group couldn't even tell me the status of the package but stated it would't even be delivered this week! Also the customer service department is so unhelpful! I feel as though they do not care one bit about their customers and don't even try to get there packages out in a timely manner! I am so frustrated and this is a huge inconvenience! Next time I order anything from anywhere I will be sure to make sure this is not the company that will be used to ship my package.- I strongly advise anybody reading this to do the same!"
"Well, like my fellow reviewees, I am extremely upset with the service I received through MXD. I fell in love with this sofa at the store and I knew it was going to take some time for it to be made because of the custom upholstery I selected. I myself am in the design industry so it wasn't a problem for me. Now that it's ready to be delivered I have had nothing but a nightmare of an experience with MXD. I received a call a couple weeks ago to schedule the delivery, I said I'd like a Wednesday delivery because I was out of town. Fine. Then TUESDAY comes and the driver calls me and says he's on his way. Uh, no? I wanted a Wednesday delivery. So they couldn't come back out until Saturday. So I get a two hour time frame from 2-4 on Saturday..4 o clock rolls around. No call. I called and the customer service representative said they were going to contact the driver and see what the hold up is. It is now 4:30 and still no call. My boyfriend waited around all day for this delivery - huge inconvenience and an entire day wasted. This company does not deserve to be in business because of the lack of professionalism and communication. This is by far the worst furniture delivery experience I have ever seen. And trust me, I've seen it all being in the industry. Still waiting for my furniture to show up...."
"Overall - terrible service. Between Pottery Barn and MXD, I called 6 times to validate the correct delivery address. All the while, my furniture sat in the warehouse for 2 weeks. Just getting someone on the phone to schedule the delivery is a joke. They call with an automated message for you to call to schedule the delivery. When you call, you have the option to leave a message and have your call returned within 2 hours. That doesn't happen. The delivery guys were friendly, but just about put my couch down on the hardwood floors with a big nail stuck on the foot. If I didn't catch it, I'd have a lovely mark on my floors. This vendor really puts me off of ordering furniture from Pottery Barn."
