Reviews of Triangle Vinyl
"Used to go to this place a ton back when it was on 7th street. It used to have a variety of new records and also old. Was organized well and all. Nowadays the new owners have ruined this place. DO NOT go here if you are looking for new vinyl, they only have 1 crate out of like 50 in the whole store which is purely new releases. The rest is disorganized and older releases and I am sad to see the place like this. Used to be a gem in Clermont. When I used to walk in the owner would be there to ask questions and even offer suggestions for vinyl. I walk in the other day and the employee at the counter doesn’t even say “hello” or “welcome”. So sad to see the place like this and I will most likely never return and will go to Orlando from now on for vinyl."
"Really friendly staff, the mimosas were really delicious and refreshing. With a variety of flavor options and shots. The store may look small from the front but there is a huge space in the back. There is so much to look at and you won't help but to take a couple of vinyls home."
"Good selection of beers and mimosas are really good. Nice environment. Only suggestion would be to focus in records. Too many products on different categories. You don't know what specifically is the store dedicated to."
"The place has a cozy atmosphere and I found exactly what I was looking for (and more). I left with an armful of 11 Lp's, all of which were more than reasonably priced (on this alone they have earned my business) Only one album from my vinyl haul was a bit too far on the scratchy side, but being that it is a rarer LP, I'll keep it. All of the rest played like a dream on my recently upgraded turntable. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my 5 dollar finds played flawlessly. Love this place! There was even a spot for my mom to sit down and rest while drinking from the adjoining shops. Lovely atmosphere, great selection, and the best part I live about 10 minutes away, so I will be be dropping by frequently for sure."
"Awesome indy vinyl record store loaded with vintage and new release LPs! Tons of 60s and 70s rock, punk, alternative albums, all in EX to VG++ condition! Also nice selection of vintage jazz. I picked up a very nice copy of Illinois Jacquet "On Prestige" LP for $8.00. AND, they also sell disc golf supplies if that is your thing! New and used flying discs, $15-$20 new, dozens to choose from. Look, I'm a record collector. I could have spent at least a couple of hours at this place had I not been pressed for time. Justin, the owner, is a really cool guy to hang out with and talk music and vinyl. We were grooving to The Who "Live at Leeds" doing air windmill guitars, talking Grateful Dead, Stooges, Miles Davis, MC5, Muddy Waters, Zeppelin, Monkees, Beefheart and Chocolate Watchband. Justin knows good music! Where does he find this stuff? And 90% of the vinyl AND sleeves are in excellent condition! Amazing! If you're anywhere near Clermont, FL, it's worth a 30 minute drive to pay a visit. Great store, nice guy, super fun place to shop while listening to the best music ever recorded!"
