"I know people say this often, but I honestly never write reviews. I felt after my wedding this weekend I must. My husband and I were highly disappointed in our dj this past Saturday. When I first reached out to black tie entertainment I specified how important music was to us and how we would like to select our songs to be played. I specifically remember saying “if your company is one that will play what they want we did not want their service” but we were reassured that what songs we picked would be played. We also thought this would make it easier on the dj seeing how we picked all the music and he could have fun with it. Well that was a lie! My husband and I sat around for months coming up with the perfect playlists for us and our guest. We had a final call 5 days before our wedding gave our complete list of songs and we’re so excited. It wasn’t until my mom approached the dj on Saturday at that point we only had an hour and half left at our reception that he hadn’t played anything on our list. As soon as he did our entire party was up and dancing loving every minute. I personally am highly upset about this still because Dj’s are not cheap and I feel lied to. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.."

"I had the pleasure of working with Alec on a wedding in January of 2023. He is the most professional and talented DJ that I have ever met. Usually I have to go up to the DJ to go over the timeline and confirm the songs on the day of, but Alec approached me and asked when a good time to go over the info was. It was the first time in 5 years of me doing weddings that a DJ has done that. He is a great team player. He played amazing mixes. His equipment is state of the art.
