"incomprehensible! I went to this office to get a new passport for my 7 month old baby. There was only one person at the window, there were two officials and the entire place was empty. I sat down to wait to be attended to while the two public officials talked about things unrelated to work. They had already finished serving the man, and only I was waiting for attention until they addressed me in a very rude, not polite, and unprofessional manner and asked me if I had already filled out the application. I was oblivious to the process and told her I had no idea what was needed but that the objective of my visit was to obtain a passport for my daughter. Then one of the officials at the window told me that I had to make an appointment while the lady in the photo with a very bad attitude said that I could leave because without an appointment she wouldn't serve me. I asked if they could please help me because it is difficult for me to return to the place and obviously they had no one to attend at that time. One official turned to the other and told her I can't attend him because I want to leave at 2pm, it was 1pm, the lady in the photo responds that I should make an appointment and come back because she was not going to attend to me. I went out to the car to see the availability of an appointment because perhaps since the place was empty they had availability and unfortunately there is no appointment for two weeks while the lady earns her salary at the window with her phone and without answering a tax payer. You only have to see this lady's face to understand how unpleasant, despotic, and unprofessional she is. It is incomprehensible, these public officials do not understand that we citizens are the ones who pay their salaries with our taxes and that they are the ones who work and have to be at the service of the citizen."

"It was my first time using this facility for passport services. I had an appointment at 8AM on 10/27/23 for my 2 kids, my husband and myself.Appointment that I was able to get online two days prior. We arrived at 7:30 AM and there were 2 other people in front of us. Our appointment was scheduled at 8 am, and as soon as they opened the doors we went inside because we were the only ones with app. So if you can, make an appointment. Once inside, Maritza took care us. I do not know where to start by describing Maritza….. she provided excellent customer service!!!! She was very patient and guided us with the process. We all needed pictures and we did it right there. We were out of the office by 8:26am, we spent less than 30 mins. Our passports arrived in a timely manner. Thank you Maritza for taking care of my family the way you did. Passport office thank you for having employees like Maritza!!!!"

"Be prepared to wait long hours here. I arrived at 6:10 am and had to wait until they gave the 90 tickets around 8:00 am. I was number 85/90. Some people were there since 3:00 am. Many people had to leave because they weren’t able to get within the first 90. If you are planning on going be early!!!. They opened at 8:00 am and started working around 8:15. My number was called around 1:30 pm so I spent over 7 hours on this place but was finally able to process my application. What some people did is they left and came back later. If you have your number you don’t have to wait there all day. The guy in front of me left after he got his ticket and came back around noon. The process takes long time as there are many applicants with kids, or they didn’t bring the photographs or the required copies. If you want to expedite your turn make sure to bring everything you need for the application. There is very limited parking and if you park on the street they will give you a ticket. There is a small parking lot by the city hall 1 block away. Make sure to pay the parking or you will also get a ticket. If you need to process your application quick because you have an upcoming trip, this place is worth the wait but you have to be there very early. I tried to make an appointment with the USPS but they didn’t have anything available for the next 6 weeks."
