Reviews of CASA Immigration and Education Services
"Bad customer service! Lady on the phone was very demanding and rude! She needs better skills to answer a call! I don’t recommend anyone this place."
"Hello. I’m writing this email in regards to my experience contacting Casa this morning. I called Casa at 10:30am, a lady answered the call. The conversation started off by me letting her know that I had previously spoken to Casa representative and was given the citizenship application form to fill out and had all my questions answered (for which I was charged a consultation fee) -I had all my questions answered in a very respectful way, I had no issue with the fee. To my understanding it’s essential that all information provided is accurate, in order to be a 100% sure I called to ask and find out if I could pay to have a certified background check done... it was a simple question and this lady’s attitude was very uncalled for. Not only the lady answering the phone was extremely rude, but after telling me they can’t provide me with a background check she simply went ahead and clicked on me. Mind you, throughout the call I asked a total of 4 times for the email to send my application to.. she failed to give me the email Everytime by continuing to rudely tell me how I’m running out of time and repeating that it won’t be *their* fault. Not once did I say it would be their fault. As a matter of fact, when she started saying so I assured her that I was aware that I’m tight on time and if I don’t make it before the price goes up it’s ok, but it was worth a try. She just clicked on me. I called back right after, nothing.. (I called 14 times and left a few voicemails with a call back number) it’s almost noon and I’m still waiting. I asked my mother to call since she recommended this place to me. She immediately got an answer, same lady same attitude. At this point I believe my calls are purposely not being answered. Both my parents went through Casa for their citizenship never having this type of issue. My mother was shocked at the treatment she received today. This experience makes me feel like Casa isn’t a reliable place for such an important matter. My family will no longer recommend anyone to Casa and I will make sure my sister and family friend don’t continue the process with Casa as well. The lady who rudely told my mother she never charged me, here’s the proof that she did. She never mentioned I’d be charged, and I never approved the transaction. Which although she attempted to charge, she charged someone else’s card. -i asked the lady for her name to which she responded in a very loud and unprofessional tone: “No se lo voy a dar!!!!!!” All information stated above can be confirmed through your recorded lines. It’s a shame to have had SUCH bad experience with Casa after such a long time."
"I wrote several emails looking for information, and they never responded. The receptionist is very rude and didn’t provide any helpful information. The web site has old content and old location. I drove to the address that it indicates, and They were moving without any notification even in the entrance door to their office. Very bad experience."
"Please look elsewhere. Without having done anything but just gathering documents and against what their own 'contract' states, they did not return the initial cost of the process. They were irresponsible and let the case stagnant to the point that it was too late. They did charge my debit card days prior to informing me that the time frame had passed. This is theft anywhere. I'd love to see a reply from the owner to this post so I can back mine up with concrete proof detailing what I am saying."
"I am so, so, so, so angry. My wife is changing her status because of our marriage and I have already worked on the documents and I just wanted a professional to review them to make sure that the packets are complete. I called CASA and the receptionist told me that there would be a 35 dollar fee for a consultation. We drove an hour west to get there and we sat in the lobby 20 minutes after our scheduled meeting and a guy comes out and takes us to a room. I tell him what we told the receptionist and he says that they don't do document reviews and I have to buy service for applying the documents for $700! He said that the person over the phone must not have understood English. SHE SPOKE PERFECTLY FINE ENGLISH AND MY WIFE WHO IS VENEZUELAN WAS RIGHT WITH ME WHEN I CALLED. IF SHE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME SHE NEEDED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN SPANISH. I don't like the guy we saw and I wish I could remember his name so I could write it here I have a complete packet and were ready to sign the check to USCIS and were both so upset that we thought we would get some help. We're both so disappointed. I blame CASA for getting our hopes up that we could finish this process without spending almost a thousand dollars on top of the USCIS fees."
