"Very rude not interested in anything you have to say not worried about what you're looking for"
"Former USMC vet. , Conservative and Brown... walked in here w/ $3k looking to legally procure some new firepower $3k worth in fact. The older white gentleman sitting behind the counter looked at me directly several times making eye contact even. Was conversing w/ a younger white male. They both looked at me, in 20 minutes neither of these men said a mumbling word to me. Now it couldn't have possibly been because I am of African descent. So I will suffice it to say that they didn't like my boots, yes thats it. It was the boots. I walked right out as smooth as I'd walked in and spent $3400 at another gun store where my boots were acceptable. If your of African descent and you prefer to be greeted when your spending money go somewhere else. Wouldn't want to interrupt these guys conversation."
"Won't be returning. Went in looking for a trolling motor. Said he only had a bow mount. Found a transom mount in the back and he said it was his and he would sell it for $100. I offered $80 cash and he told me he wasn't in the business to lose money. Congratulations on not losing money but you just lost a return customer. Hope the fellas who quit talking when I walked in can bring you more business."
"I visited this shop looking for a local gun smith to take a look at an older Walther PP in 7.65mm. The owner took much time making phone calls looking for someone who could help me. The owner was extremely friendly, explained a lot about his inventory, and we both shared a number of stories. Excellent visit and I will return if the need arises."
"I called but didn't get an answer, thinking they might be really busy, I drove to the store instead. When I arrived, I was immediately disturbed by the condition of the store--it looked like a Hollywood version of a Mexican pawn shop. I was not greeted by any of the 5 men that were sitting behind the counter despite being only one of three customers. When I couldn't find one on display I asked the herd of men, "do you happen to have any Assault Rifles?" Their immediate reply was laughter. I stood there waiting for a polite explain but received none. "It's an honest question. Do you or don't you?" Their response, to summarize their disrespectful, redneck blabber, was that they were all gone and no longer existed anywhere. No one stood up, offered any advice, or apologized for laughing at my simple, valid question. I'm guessing no one bothered to move or stop their conversation to pick up the phone when I had called 20min earlier. I walked away empty-handed, frustrated, and less intelligent than when I arrived. To put this review in perspective, this incident occured 3.5 weeks after the Newtown, CT shooting. I was in my military uniform, and despite AR sales going thru the roof since that tragedy, I expected a little more respect let alone some common courtesy."
